Advent Day 12
Mehhhhhhh. Really could do without all of these fruity butterfly pea blends in this advent. This one is particularly muddled and weird. The butterfly pea flavor is really intense, and there’s maybe a little bit of peach.
Overall, too many fruity teas in this advent…and not enough black teas. Harrumph.

I didn’t have a chance to try this one yesterday, but I’m not a fan of the butterfly pea flower taste. It tastes like peas in my tea and it takes a lot of other flavors to mask it. I love the visual effect it has, but that’s not why I drink tea. I’m also wishing for more black teas in this advent.
Yeah…it’s not a pleasant flavor. I was definitely hoping for more holidays flavors- maybe we’ll have better luck (and more black teas) in the second half.
Dry, plain butterfly pea flower smells like brocolli to me… and I like brocolli, but it is still pretty meh as an herbal. I do like it the “Thai way” with a teaspoon of honey and lemon, but at that point, it doesn’t really taste of butterfly pea flower anymore.
