drank Anhui Maojian by Tea Runners
1965 tasting notes

I haven’t really been drinking straight green teas over the last couple years. I gravitate towards black teas and lightly oxidized oolongs. But, I like to have a couple straight greens on hand in case I have a craving, so I was pleased to see this in my Tea Runner’s box.
This smells sweet and grassy.
The flavor reminds me of jiaogulan- very sweet and green. The sweet flavor is actually turning my stomach a bit.

Bio

Hello! I live in Los Angeles with my boyfriend and 4 cats [+however many foster cats I have at the moment]. I’m also obsessed with all things spooky.

I became obsessed with the world of tea through DavidsTea years ago. I love to try new brands, so I’m constantly on the look out for new-to-me companies.
