630 Tasting Notes
This is tasty – it definitely reminds me of fall with the hint of cinnamon, but is still fresh and juicy. I could see enjoying this hot or iced. Next time though, I will use more than one teaspoon for my cup, as I found the flavors to be just a hair weaker than I prefer.
Preparation
This was phenomenal. I know I adore peachy flavors, and this one is definitely very juicy and peach reminiscent, but peach mixed with floral is killer. And oolong is my favorite tea base, pretty much ever. I want a perfume that smells like this stuff, dry or steeped. I want a candle of it. I want to smell it all day long.
Preparation
This was alright, it was flavorful enough, but for whatever reason it didn’t really impress. It was a hair more astringent than I prefer (and I steep pretty much all black teas except chai now at 200 degrees to avoid the bitterness), but not bad at all. Most would probably enjoy it. It has a bit of a sweetness too. No idea why I am not the biggest fan. Recommended because of that odd quandary.
Preparation
I normally do NOT like smokey teas. At all.
This is one that has a hint of smoke but doesn’t overwhelm the taste of the tea at all, and is perfect for this 40 degree fall morning. I don’t think I enjoy it enough to buy a lot of it, but I will enjoy what I have very much.
Preparation
This tastes toasty and mineral-y. I think next time I will steep it longer to give it more flavor, but I am glad that it wasn’t astringent at all. The lack of astringency is why I tend to prefer oolongs to blacks. I think I will have to play with this one a little longer.
Preparation
This was really smooth, and really didn’t remind me of most blacks I drink. It was light in color, and had no bitterness at all. I think it would be great for a person who finds a lot of black tea to be too bold, though it didn’t quite have enough flavor for me to want to purchase.
