I didn’t use enough tea in my glass gongfu pot. Sadness! So while it’s still tasty, it’s weaker than it was last time and isn’t the expected thick liquid honey-like liquid.

6g is not enough for 200ml. Just FYI.

And eggplant bhartha is too strong to eat along side this tea as well. Even though it was delicious.

From MissB, probably a really long time ago. Thank you!

It’s not bad. There were lots of crumbs in the bag, which is why I hadn’t made it before. As it sat and I drank it, it went quite bitter because of the tiny pieces.

When fresh, the flavour was nice. It was… EG-ish I think maybe? IDK. I have a headache and I’m cooking dinner and also cleaning my apartment. So I wasn’t paying a lot of attention. I drank it up quite fast though, and would be happy to try it again if I had the opportunity.

I had this after the Chinese black tea today, and I must say… its texture is lacking. It’s so thin in comparison!

However, the flavour is lovely as usual. And I’m sure I could supplement the texture by overleafing somewhat or steeping longer. But I didn’t.

I still really like this tea, with its orange and apricot flavours. However, I think Naissance is better. It’s just… more. Fancier. Dessertier. Other adjectives that don’t really exist-ier as well.

Oh this is really really tasty! Thanks so much for sharing, Dexter.

It’s super grainy. Reminds me a little of the roasted buckwheat teas. Nice and thick. A little sweet – maybe like roasted sweet potatoes? It’s that caramelized delightfulness that isn’t really sugary.

I don’t get chocolate, at all. Some of the flavours remind me of “dirt tea” but thankfully the dirt is rather mild. Most of the flavours are thick grains.

Yum.

:P I don’t know that I’d buy it actually. It’s tasty but I prefer the golden snails flavours for every day drinking. And what happens when my taste and smell are back and it tastes like dirt? :D

Needs honey. But it’s SO GOOD right now. Super limey tart, with the sugary dried fruits, and the honey.

Yum.

If I could get it 50% off all the time, I’d buy it more frequently. :)

Another generous sample from Dexter! This is so fun trying all these teas!

I liked this one too, but I think I liked the Han Xiang Ecological one more maybe I think. I’ll have to try them side by side at some point.

From. Actually I don’t know. Kittenna maybe? I don’t have my spreadsheet to check right now, sorry!! (It’s from VariaTEA! Thank you. :) )

Anyways, it’s fruity. A little creamy maybe. Mostly intensely fruity. If Marco polo had been this fruity I would have liked it more.

I do like it, but I don’t think I like it enough to buy it.

Sorry for the crummy note, tea friends. My smell still isn’t 100% and I am so tired.

2.5 tsp in 16 oz. 3 min at 195F. With a touch of milk.

Hey, you need to look after yourself, so don’t you dare apologize!

I am at work all day today too. Well “all day” as in I strolled in at noon. I just wanna go home.

I tried mixing Butiki’s Birthday Cake into this, copying Roswell Strange’s mixing Birthday Cake into ALL THE THINGS.

Didn’t work so well. It’s drinkable, but it’s not good.

Oh well. Better luck next time.

(Sipdown: 184 I think maybe?) Sample from Dustin. Thank you!

This turned out SO GOOD tonight. Orange creamsicle, with lots of floral and rose. Really delicious, but I still prefer Naissance and the Evening in France teas I have from Fauchon.

(I had other teas today but they were “I have a tsp of this left so let’s mix it with a tsp of some random plain tea” kind of sipdowns. So I’m just going to say here I drank tea. Mmm, tea.)

I tried this in-store and got 3 (three, doh) perfect spoons (12g) to try out as a cold brew.

It’s definitely berry. Very very berry. To me, it tastes more like raspberry but the sales person said blackberry. Whatever, still berry.

I do like the Grandma’s Fruit Garden I can get from some local store (the name escapes me and I’m too lazy to look it up) better as a berry cold brew. It’s less candy.

So I won’t be buying a bunch of this tea. I mean, it’s nice for what it is, but it is candy berry. And I think I prefer to drink things that make me think I’m rolling in a field in the summer time rather than sitting in front of berry Jello when I’m feeling sick.
