A relative of mine recently ordered this because she really likes this one (she prefers her tea with milk though) I wanted something Christmas-y tonight to drink and decided to revisit this one. The dry leaf smells so good but I still don’t like this one once brewed the clove takes over and it’s slightly bitter. This definitely needs milk.

I was super excited for this one once I read the description.
The dry sachet smells lovely very fruity and floral. This would be a nice perfume scent hehe. I can’t smell the green tea at all.
I did end up overstepping it slightly as I forgot to set the timer so there was some astringency but it wasn’t too bad.
I really enjoyed this cup the red fruit taste works really nicely with the rose. It has an almost strawberry candy flavor to it. The floral notes and the green tea base work nicely together as well. I had really wanted to try the European red fruit teas and at least based off of this tea I really enjoyed it! I would definitely consider purchasing some of this. I think that this would also be really good on a black tea base and it appears that they do have a black tea version of this as well. This has been the Advent tea that I have most enjoyed thus far.

Bought this one for a tea bag swap on SwapBot since I didn’t have any of my swap partner’s preferences on hand. I’ve never tried this one before so I figured I’d give it a try.
Not a fan the rose hips provide a strange fruitiness and this tastes more like an herbal than a flavored black. The coconut is very subtle and this tea doesn’t have much flavor. I wasn’t expecting much from this but it was worth a try! I think I’ll end up sending the rest of this tea to a family member’s work.

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 9:
I honestly wasn’t gonna make a note for this one but I might as well write what I thought of it. This is a nice enough cup of Chai but nothing special or that I would seek out to purchase. The quality of these teas though is very nice so far with the exception of the one that tasted like Cherry Benadryl(The Des Gourmets)

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 10:
The sachet says to use 170F water but my tea kettle only has a 175F setting which is what I went with to brew this cup.
I prefer the Black tea version of this over the green tea one. The green tea doesn’t come through nearly as much as the one in the (Blue Of London version). I drank this one while doing some other stuff but the bergamot is the primary flavor I’m getting. I wouldn’t purchase this but it’s still not a bad cup of tea. Though I think there are probably better Green Earl Grey Tea’s out there.
Update* This resteeped very well I resteeped it using 185F water for 5 minutes 30 seconds

The steeping parameters on the sachet and the website do differ a little bit so keep that in mind.
I was happy to see that today’s tea is a Sencha. Sencha is one of my favorite teas and I especially love plain green teas. I feel like I need to point out that it’s been quite awhile since I’ve had a plain Sencha and have been wanting to get some for my cupboard for quite awhile now.
This is a really nice Sencha no bitterness and has a lovely delicate flavor. This one doesn’t have as many of the strong vegetal or seaweed notes that a lot of people don’t care for in green tea. I would definitely consider purchasing this but I wouldn’t go out of my way to get this one specifically. The Resteep was nice as well!

This is SOOOO good. Such a Nice and creamy milky orchid flavor. I didn’t really pay a ton of attention when drinking this because I was getting some work done. I would definitely love to purchase some of this for my cupboard.
