1324 Tasting Notes
I don’t know how old this tea is since It was an office grab and I didn’t buy it. It does have a very pleasant natural peach juice flavor though which is surprising for a cheap boxed tea. I get some of the cheaper green tea flavor too but the peach flavor is really nice that I don’t mind it as much. I can’t taste the rooibos at all though.
Flavors: Peach
Preparation
This was a sample from my recent Harney & Sons order and they sent me two of these.
Well this went about how I expected it to go… I don’t like lemongrass flavored teas…
That is exactly what this tea is. Well the other sachet of this tea will definitely be given away.
Flavors: Citrus, Lemon, Lemon Zest, Lemongrass, Lime

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 15:
The recommended steeping parameters are 195F but I decided to steep it using boiling water instead.
I really liked this one it was just really sweet, very smooth, and not bitter or astringent etc. Honestly I couldn’t necessarily pick out any specific flavor notes just really appreciated the sweetness and pleasantness.
Flavors: Honey, Smooth, Sweet
Preparation
I feel really bad because I just realized that the Harney & Sons sample pouches are compostable. How cool is that?
I am really enjoying this one as the pear notes are quite real as opposed to being candy like. I am maybe wishing for slightly more prominent spice notes but maybe I just need to mix up my sample pouch again. Flavored white teas usually don’t work out for me most of the time they just have no flavor imo. This one is reminiscent to eating a juicy pear and is not disappointing at all. I would definitely be willing to buy some more of this. I also think this tea would be a great gift.
Flavors: Apple, Fruity, Oats, Pear, Sweet

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 14:
Dry sachet just smells like a nice Jasmine tea quite floral.
Once steeped I found this to be somewhat watery thin in terms of the flavor. It’s not a bad Jasmine tea but I’ve definitely had much better ones that weren’t watery or thin. I even measured exactly 8 oz for the water. It’s kind of Eh overall and for the price you can definitely find a better jasmine tea like Steven Smith Teamaker’s for example.
Flavors: Floral, Flowers, Jasmine

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 13:
This is one of the ones on my wishlist from this Company so I’m glad to be trying it in the advent calendar. December 13th is always a difficult day for my family because it was a life changing one. Back to the tea…
The dry sachet smells like Beartrap from David’s Tea Which even though it is a hibiscus heavy tea it remains one of my favorites.
Steeped up the tea is light in color so I don’t anticipate a strong hibiscus flavor luckily. The taste of this tea really made me think I was going crazy. I was convinced that it reminds me of TWO of my favorite DavidsTea Blends. Bear Trap and The Glow? I think it actually reminds me of Bear Trap and Seaberry Spa though.
After I did some ingredient checking. There is a slight resemblance to bear trap in terms of berry flavor. The herbal flavor is mainly what I taste though and I believe reminds me of Seaberry Spa? They both have Sea Buckthorn Berries in them. Anyways I really Like this one and would love to have it in my cupboard. It’s like a cross between some of my favorite tea blends. It’s a nice herbal tea.
Flavors: Berries, Berry, Herbs, Jam, Sweet
Ya, this one has a surprisingly refreshing peach flavor.
I really like this one…my remaining packets are two or three years old. I need to do a stroll down the tea aisle at our Natural Grocers chain to see what’s what. Then again, with my waffly willpower, maybe I shouldn’t.
