Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 19:
The dry leaf for this one smells very good nice and fruity.
Once brewed the taste is pleasant as well though I don’t know what Quince tastes like. I am definitely tasting the apple but can taste a hint of the plum as well. I also am tasting quite a bit of pear? This tea reminds me of another tea I’ve tried that was a pear green tea. I wouldn’t feel the need to purchase this because of that but it is very sweet and pleasant to drink.

Palais Des Thes Advent Calendar Day 18:
Compared to the other overflowing sachets this one even though it is a herbal/fruit tea has hardly any tea in it. Based on the fruity apple hibiscus spice smell of the dry sachet I don’t think I’m going to like this one… (DT’s Sleigh Ride for example was one that I couldn’t drink)
Once steeped it honestly tastes like something that was not meant for consumption. Reminds me of Potpourri tbh I’m definitely biased though as I just don’t the combination of these ingredients together. The clove comes through along with strong apple and hibiscus flavors. It is sweet probably from the apple and or rosehips? I would not want to drink this again lol This is definitely my least favorite of the advent teas so far.
Flavors: Almond, Apple, Clove, Fruity, Hibiscus, Nutty, Orange, Rosehips, Spices, Sweet
Preparation
I decided to try to make this more cookie like with what I have on hand.
I mixed this with some Cocoa Shells.
Brewed this smells more like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough already though it’s missing the vanilla. Taste wise It’s definitely closer to tasting like a chocolate chip cookie though I don’t personally love it still. The Cocoa shells gave it more of that fruitiness that Dark Chocolate often has which gives it more of a dark chocolate truffle vibe overall. Maybe I added too many cocoa shells? Still an enjoyable cup and someone who is a fan of very dark chocolate might like this combo.
