when I smell the dry leaves, I smell flowers and jasmine.
when I smell the wet leaves, it smells like flowers and jasmine too :D
when I smell the brewed tea, I smell a strong lovely jasmine smell.
when I taste the brewed tea, it taste just wonderful! nice jasmine taste.

when i smell the dry leaves, it has a nice musty smell to it.
when i smell the wet leaves, it smells like a lovely black tee with lots of pepper smell.
when i taste the tea, it has the common black tea taste with lots of pepper flavor and some spicy flavor too

I know about the sheng ’Spicy" notes as well. I think the first one I got in the aroma was the “Wild Monk” from Mandala. like inhaling some spicy hot sauce in the aroma.
not really burn but the steam from the Gaiwan kind of put me back a step. Have you tried the wild monk yet?

when I taste the brewed tea, it tastes similar to pu-ehr but with no bitterness and very sweet

one of the weirdest tasting oolongs i’ve ever had! :) tastes like a mix of raw and roasted though I prefer roasted most.. here we go

when I smell the leaves that are dry, they smell spicy and smoky.
when I smell them wet, the smell is more intense.
when I smell the brewed tea, it smells nice and smoky. and when I taste it its heavy in smoke and spices and leaves a after taste similar to grape juice lol
(one note that keeps it from reaching 100% is that it should be steeped lightly)

I smell the tuo It smells like a sweet musty smellWhen I brew the tea, the leaves smell like a nice honey smell.
When I look at the leaves they look like green tea leaves :D
When I look at the tea liquid it looks like yellow orange
When I smell the liquid it smells like smoke, spice, and honey. The same when I taste it :)

a nice and mellow tea :) maybe too mellow for me with little to no spice just honey and sweetness. I’m sure others will like this tea though
