so I had some banana bread with butter so I cannot exactly taste specific flavors. but since this tea was in the kitchen near cooking fumes I thought this tea would taste bad. but it tastes really good, just don’t over steep this tea

when i smell the leaves dry, they smell like strong pineapple and other fruits

when i smell the leaves wet, they smell a little like pineapple

when i smell the brewed tea, it smells a little like pineapple and peppery

when i taste the brewed tea, it smells sweet with pineapple and pepper

many thanks to christina for letting me help with the tea party setup and for giving me this tea

i wonder if there is a tea that tastes peppery more than this.

when i smell the leaves dry, it smells sweet and musty

when I smell the leaves wet, it smells sweet and earthy with minor fish smell but I don’t mind the fish smell

when I smell the brewed tea, it smells toasty and earthy.

when I taste the brewed tea, it tastes really smooth. mellow and metallic

when i smell the leaves dry, it smells like cinnamon, ginger and spices

when i smell the leaves wet, it smell mostly of cinnamon.

when i smell the brewed tea, it smells like cinnamon and ginger

when i taste the brewed tea, i can taste cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, and spicey powders

overall this is a decent tea :D

USED: 3x tablespoons for multiple 250 ml cups throughout the day.

Flavors: Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Ginger, Spices, Spicy

i noticed this pouch did not have much of that asparagus smell nor taste but it is still really good.

when i smell the leaves dry, it smells like fresh cut grass like i believe all sencha should :D

when i smell the leaves wet, it has a major sent of freshly cut grass and a minor scent of asparagus and for some strange reason nuts. (could be because i have a bag of camellia on the table) :)

when i smell the brewed tea, it smells nice and grassy :D

when i taste the brewed tea, its the same as the smell of the liquid :D

what a lovely tea! :D
