when i smell the brewed tea, it smells like honey and green tea.
when i taste the brewed tea, it tastes like pepper, honey and green tea

gaiwan way:
1st steep 20s: tastes floral and chalky (in a good way)
2nd steep (Best/final) 40s: it tastes even stronger of the above tastes.
then I got hungry for matcha pancakes so I cut this one short for today

when i smell the leaves wet, they smell sweet like sweet grass with hints of chestnut.
when i smell the brewed tea, it smells lightly of sweet grass and more of a chest nut smell
when i taste the brewed tea, it tastes sweet like sweet grass with heavy chestnut flavor.

a really good tisane,
1st steep 20s: tasted sweet, toasty and nutty
2nd steep 40s: really sweet, toasty and nutty.
3rd (best/final) steep 1min: the best of the best of all three steeps strong flavors too.
when I smell the wheat dry , it smells slightly nutty
when I smell the wheat wet it smells nutty and toasty
I tried eating the wheat after but bleh too bland

this was an ok tea, not the best though
1st steep 20s: some sweetness needs longer steep (wasn’t sure if I needed to rinse it first)
2nd steep (best) 40s: tangy and sweet similar to really old puehr
3rd (final) steep 1 min: same as steep 2

when I smell the leaves wet they smell like the forest floor
I will find this tea a new home someday as I have too much to mail out atm

1st steep 20s: it tastes chocolaty and peppery
2nd steep (Best) 40s: it tastes the same as above but with some bitter-sweetness this time.
3rd (Final) steep 1 min: all of the above

overall this is an ok tea, however i think it could use a new home: anyone willing to swap?

when i taste it i taste the above notes and it is really sweet and lovely!

so i got my new gongfu set today. as well as the rest of my order and all is well with it.
gong fu style:
first steep 10s: the tea was very smooth and sweet with smokeyness and honey tasting.
second steep 20s: the tea was very sweet with sugarcane notes as well as honey and mild smokeyness.
third (final) steep 30s: this was the best steep with all of the above notes.
the lingering taste was of sweet hay like taste
