I was so excited by this new addition at my local grocery store: bags of loose-leaf tea alongside the boxes of Lipton and Bigelow! I haven’t tried much from this brand before, but this one sounded tasty and the price was pretty good: $5 for 1.5 ounces. I’m not sure what makes this an “energizer” tea, as the ingredients list and flavor indicate that it’s simply a fruit-flavored black tea. However, the flavor is quite pleasant: natural-tasting raspberry and passionfruit with a slightly tart note in the aftertaste. I may have to try some other flavors next time I stock up on groceries!

Flavors: Passion Fruit, Raspberry, Tart

Haven’t seen Tiesta in grocery stores yet; we can get it at local health food place, but it’s significantly more expensive than what you snagged it for. Their nutty-appley variety (can’t remember the name) is good.

Thanks for the recommendation! I seem to recall seeing a nutty herbal blend that I passed up because there was hibiscus in the ingredients list; maybe I’ll give it a shot next time.

Ah…(looked it up)…Nutty Almond Cream.

Tiesta usually has a 50% off Black Friday sale online, just FYI ;)

“You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me.” ~ C.S. Lewis

I was introduced to loose leaf tea by a roommate in 2012, but it wasn’t until I stumbled upon Steepster in 2014 that I discovered a world of tea that went beyond Teavana and the grocery store.

My tastes continue to evolve, but black tea is currently my favorite. I am especially drawn to strong, malty breakfast blends to wake me up in the morning and flavored dessert teas to sip throughout the day.

Just about everything in my cupboard is available to swap, so feel free to ask!
