I enjoyed this one. The orange is certainly not realistic, it’s more like an orange pixie stick or vitamin C tablet. But that doesn’t keep it from being enjoyable, as it has a nice hit of tartness and contrasts well with the green maté base.
I can’t really comment on the energizing properties, as I don’t really find myself affected by caffeine. But very pleasant! I’m not sure I would reorder it, but it doesn’t seem to be available anymore anyway.

…and that’s how we spent our allowance at Horton’s 5 & 10, filling our little fourth grade purses with pounds of nickel Pixie Stix, Lik’M’Aid, Jolly Ranchers, and those awful little wax bottles of colored sugar water.
OMG I forgot about Lik-M-Aid Fun Dip! God, the sticks were so disgusting, LOL! Just a sugar delivery device. ;)
Gmathis – you have precisely described my childhood haul on allowance day when we walked to the five and dime! Also, Charms Blow Pops, Sweetarts, and Atkinson’s Peanut Butter Logs. (I still love those but hard to find.)
Yeah, try finding Butter Rum Life Savers these days. Husband’s stocking stuffer of choice…hard to find if you don’t want ten pounds of ’em.
