Kelmishka Homemade Advent Day 5! The name of this tea sounded like it would be best cold, so I’m drinking this cold with milk and sugar. It’s nice! I taste a lot of cream flavor along with a little berry in some sips. I did try it hot, and it’s much better cold. I always enjoy trying a new S&V tea! Apparently this has cocoa in it, but I don’t taste that.

AJ, did you cold-brew the tea as well? I’m wondering if the fruity aromas get driven off by hot water, or intensified by hot extraction!
Just had to google to see if snowberries were really a thing. They are (I’m surprised) and they are toxic to humans, so perhaps the name of the tea is all marketing which is what I originally suspected.
And I had to google what do you call snowberries and found out they are quite common here used in hedges. And in autumn picked and stepped into. If you’re lucky, popping them makes quite a loud pop.

Looking forward to trying this one in the advent!

I’ve rarely enjoyed cold brewed black teas, but I could try again sometime! I assumed a snowberry wasn’t a real thing – interesting!
