I’m addicted to this tea. Chocolate raspberry with some woodiness is what I taste. It’s like my coffee to me, even though I’ve never been into coffee. This definitely has a permanent place in my collection!

Nabbed a bag of this new tea today. It smells strangely like bananas. It’s lovely and sweet. The raspberries hit first, and the chocolate is kind of a wispy after taste. It’s rich, but really easy to drink. Really juicy.

I’ve resteeped it a couple of times and it’s still good, so it looks like it’ll be going into the travel mug. Definitely a keeper!

This is the most refreshing chocolate tea I have ever tasted. Often they are so sweet or sticky that I think I might as well have had hot chocolate. This has the chocolate flavour without trying to make it dessert.

MMMM this is good!!!! What a great cup of tea. I tend to not like raspberry and chocolate together, but for some reason it really works in this tea. It’s got a sharp taste to it that I can’t really put my finger on…. I’m guessed the chicory root because it’s really giving it a toasted flavor! I like it, and the boost it is giving me this cold afternoon is wonderful too!

Opened a bag I had of this for my class this morning. It was the last day though this particular class only met for two weeks. This tea is one of my favorites It’s been my go-to morning college classes tea for a few years now. Great plain or with Soymilk. I’m not a morning person so a little incentive always helps. I need to find more yummy Chocolate Raspberry teas or flavored mates.
On a Sidenote is anyone else making Cookies for Valentine’s Day? I’m planning on trying out a Fluffernutter cookie recipe tomorrow and just finished baking some Pistachio cookies.

We made the most amazing vegan chocolate peanut butter mousse pie. It turned out incredibly! How were your cookies? Also, I love raspberry tea in general, and the S&V Valentine’s Blend of raspberry chocolate is delicious.

It wasn’t for Valentine’s Day, but I made snickerdoodles to crush up into my homemade banana pudding ice cream! I meant to only taste it yesterday, but accidentally had a lot!

tea-sipper

I also second you trying Simpson & vail’s valentine’s tea

The cookies well lets just say they aren’t photo worthy since grocery stores are closed here and I didn’t have any parchment paper. They tasted really good though and were really fun to make! I’ve been meaning to order from S&V at some point and will definitely try and get some of that one when I order.
@AJRimmer That sounds delicious!
@Tea-sipper I’ll definitely have to get my hands on some then!

Chocolate and raspberry is one of my favorite combos so I knew this one would be a winner. This was the first mate tea ive tried- I wasn’t disappointed but I do think id prefer this tea as a black base. Regardless the flavor is there. I dont get much raspberry though, more of a light banana.

Unlike some chocolate teas, I definitely do get the chocolate flavor in this one. I do get a hint of fruitiness, which doesn’t scream raspberry but does fit that once I read that’s what it is, lol. I think I get the almond as well, which I do love in a chocolate tea. My main gripe is that this is a little watery feeling – it needs better body to it, or maybe I just need to use more tea. There is also a faint coffee-like taste to me, which might just be the chicory tricking me, as I associate that with coffee!

Roasted teas often remind me of coffee as well.

I usually don’t like chocolate + fruit flavors, but the great reviews here made me finally try this, and I’m glad that I did. It’s a great pick-me-up and the overall flavor is so very smooth and velvety. Chocolate and raspberry syrup, but both are so creamy and somehow not sickly sweet. Pleasant, strong, but not overwhelming, and was able to make several cups from one tablespoon, which I almost never do (I hate weak tea, lol).

Believe it or not, this is my first time trying this tea. It actually smells pretty good, I think the reason I hadn’t was because of the almonds in it. Anyway – this is an interesting tea. I’m really tasting a roastiness to it, and secondly the almonds. But that raspberry flavour is more like those chewy raspberry candies. Pretty much. It’s definitely not the real raspberry, though. Overall it’s not a bad tea, and I’ll drink it, but I don’t think I’ll buy any more.

This is a pleasant start to my day this morning, even better since I was rushed and missed the caffeine hit of my daily cup of coffee. I really like the chocolate and raspberry combination. It tastes like a liquid raspberry truffles to me. The sweetness from the roasted yerba mate works well with the other ingredients. The almond slices give just a hint of nuttiness, although it’s almost lost in the raspberry and chocolate flavours. I don’t mind that though, I’m all about the chocolate raspberries!!
