From DAVIDsTEA

Twinkle, twinkle

This deep dark Chinese tea is like a gorgeous starry night, glimmering with gold and silver sugar crystals that shimmer as they steep. Take a sip and the slow suggestion of cinnamon will warm your body. Your toes will tingle and your mind will turn to fireworks, falling stars, late-night seduction. It’s basically magic. (Is it getting hot in here, or is it just the tea?)

Ingredients: Black tea, lemon peel, sugar sprinkles (sugar, rice flour, partly hydrogenated canola oil, shellac, titanium oxide, iron oxide, potato starch), sugar, cloves, natural and artificial flavouring.

This is my favourite black tea from David’s! Before pouring milk, I love seeing the gold swirls around in my mug. At first sip, you can feel the zing from the cinnamon with the deep resonance of the cloves and warmth from the vanilla. It’s such a warm, comforting tea perfect for a rainy or snowy morning while reading the paper. If you have an open house or friends over for dessert, brew this tea to make your guests feel warm and invited.

Glitter & Gold was the first tea I tried from Davids, and I’ve not looked back since! This one now lives in my permanent stash, glittering away on the top of the stack.

I love cinnamon and spicy flavours, so this tea scratches that itch in the best way. It’s got a lot of body that can handle adding milk, which I do more often than not. The flavour is mostly cinnamon with the black tea, orange, and clove bringing up the rear.

Plus it’s sparkly! How cute is that?

A tea you can take home to your mother, for sure.

!

This is my favourite Davids Tea. Other things come close, but this is what I always go back to.

Brews a nice golden brown tea with gold sparkles. Smells like cinnamon and spice.

G+G is versatile and can stand up to any kind of mixing you want to throw at it. It drinks well hot, cold, with or without sweetener, and with or without milk. It’s a good gift if you know anyone in your life that loves shiny things (I get way too excited over revealing that it sparkles when its brewed).

This was the first tea I ever picked up from David’s Tea, after listening to my co-workers rant and rave about the place.
The smell of this tea is divine, and really does have a cinnamon-y aroma. I find the flavour is nice and rich, and bold too. Since it has sugary sparkly bits in this mix the tea is naturally a little sweet when taken without sugar as well which is nice. Overall this tea is quite yummy, and while it isn’t my favourite tea of all time, it is one that I really do enjoy.

I love everything about this tea, especially the fact that it sparkles :) Its a comforting sweet cinnamon black tea. I even forgot about it and oversteeped it and it still turned out yummy. This tea is just perfection.

I tried this tea for the the first time in-store today. A friend had recommended it to me and said it was one of her favourites. I tried it and immediately bought a tin of of it! It smells stronger than it tastes but the sweet cinnamon flavour is just addicting! If youre looking for something a little bit different, definitely try Glitter and Gold! It wont disappoint! :)
