80 Tasting Notes
I’ve been purchasing this two years in a row. This would be a delicate almond-cherry-flowery black blend willing to please everybody. I have never found something similar nonetheless, it really is a good quality french ’’pastry’’ tea and the tin it comes in is absolutely adorable.
Storm of…chocolate? David really was up to something when he crafted this. It’s true, you really need a big amount to taste the black tea base, coconut and vanilla. This is primarily malty chocolate and cinnamon.
Conversely, it is delightful and does the trick. It reminds me of my favorite swedish dessert, the Pepparkakor (spicy cinnamon cookies). Actually, I’m going to make some and dip them in Stormy Night. On a stormy night. How comforting and cute.
Bought this one as Mulberry Monster (BoOoOOo, Halloween special packaging) … and I liked it!
It is one of the nuttiest (naughtiest?) teas I’ve ever bought, and it goes right into my list of ‘’the greats’’ from Davids. Mulberry leaves though? Why is this so good?
Geekery: Mulberry leaves are used to treat diabetes type 2 as they have a reducing effect on blood glucose and serum lipids.
Diabetic or not if you like macadamia white-chocolate things and a bit of a vegetal wrap-around, this is it. I’m a bit late to the party but I’m suuuuper glad I got this.
