I don’t think of myself as having very refined tastes or anything, and I’m not much of a reviewer, but I had to leave a review here because this is honestly the best tea I’ve ever had. I really hope it becomes available again sometime. I’ve been trying to make my remaining bag last as long as possible!

I used to drink a lot of gunpowder green & mint together. It’s very refreshing, especially iced. I’ve never tried it with jasmine added, & since I like jasmine sometimes, it’s a nice addition. Not something I’d want to keep in my collection, but nice to try.

It is always nice to get to try new teas in swaps but it is especially nice when people send teas that are difficult to come by otherwise. Those who live in Canada know that Adagio blends are not the most accessible given the high shipping costs so I am very grateful to jump62359 for sending this my way.
Tastewise, the mint is strong in this blend. Very strong. And yet there is also a roasty smoke element from the gunpowder. However, underneath all the bolder flavors, there is a touch of floral jasmine to soften up the cup a bit. In that sense, it is much like Loki – a lot of flash and strength but underneath it all, a sensitive soul :P
Mmmmmm. As soon as you guys say you want Adagio, I am IN for an order. I want some of this. :P My cart is already about $100 though. :|
I think it might be a while for me but I can always just ship it to my Dad so if you are ready, feel free to go ahead without me :)

Wow. This smells so amazing. I’m not really a huge of jasmine, but I DO like spearmint and gunpowder tea, and these really, really blend well together. I’m even enjoying the jasmine in it.
OMG. So, so far I want to buy Thor and Loki teas. They’re in a ‘ship so I will save a little on them, but… what if I end up wanting to buy ALL the Avengers teas? I’m a little worried about continuing on…

this is a tricky tea…which i’m ok with since it’s loki. shmiracles sent this my way and when i opened the bag i was like “well crap…that’s uh…some jasmine” However, once brewed, the jasmine IN the tea is almost non existant. read that as “sil didn’t have to dump it down the drain” my main problem with this though was that i kept smelling the jasmine, which was turning me off the cup even though every time i took a sip, i was like oh! no jasmine lol
This is my favorite afternoon tea because it tastes good hot, cold, or room temperature so if I forget about it for a while (as I often do in the afternoon) it’s still good. I do think I prefer it warm because I find the flavors seem more balanced, as opposed to the dominance of the mint when iced. It reminds me a lot of the Tazo iced mint green teas in the bottle that I used to get occasionally.
Also, when I first ordered this from Adagio I got two bags of Loki instead of the one Loki and one something else I ordered, which seemed amusingly fitting. They sent me the missing tea right away when I let them know and I got to keep the extra Loki, which was nice because I finished the first bag fairly quickly.
