Nice. It’s a bit like NUMI’s Mate Lemon Green Tea ,reminding me of its lovely&sweet flavor of lemon myrtle .Actually, the cute package/cover gained some extra points ,furthermore I’m happy with the refreshing taste,as if I was welcomed with a warm&bright embrace and a sunny smile ,days were soft like cotton, that kind of thing XD.
This one drinks like home .The smell of toasted rice is more like my treasured memory with my grandmother and caring sisters&naughty little brother back to the days when I was a little girl who was clingy to this elder sister. We used to dip toasted rice into hot boiled water with a homemade cigarette -shaped snack ,which is more of a sweet with maltose as coat ,and sesame and granulated sugar inside. The warm liquid ,with its clear tone of nice soothing green tea and warmess of toasted rice, has the surprisingly joyful taste of a happy childhood without the sin of sugar——so sweet.
Soft, juicy,a touch of green grapes. Not strong but with pleasant and clean aroma reminding me of flowers and honey and fruits. The way the liquid touches my whole mouth really feels like biting a soft plum or grape, which is one of my favorite experiences with this tea.
I like it.Actually this is one of those few earl greys that I can drink through without anything unsatisfying (or even unpleasant to my palate),thus enjoying myself completely. The tea is decent, the scent of bergamot is not overwhelming nor chemical(I feel not so good sometimes when bergamot isn’t working very well, or too sharp),every thing is so natural, like they are supposed to be together. I’m even happier to find that there is a very enjoyable taste here ,reminding me of honey cake, flavorful and smooth and natural, just what I need from a relaxing earl grey.
Oh Yes!I LOVE STASH! Lively cherries 、 chocolate, with creamy notes like vanilla ice-cream,what a surprisingly tasty treat! The liquor also reminds me of a yummy chocolate cake with cherries and raspberries ~XD Smooth, with crystal clear and a little tart flavor, warm&gourmet yet refreshing at the same time.Stash is definitely one of my favorite grocery store tea brands. And this tea is as far as I could dream of, with such reasonable prize and endless surprise. So lucky that I finally settle down to Stash (which makes me want to come back again and again ) as to fruit teas LOL(Of course I’m still eager for new brands too :3
A few months ago,I drank this tea for the first time.I was not into licorice so much ,yet they appeared quite strong and sweet and a little medicine-like,so I could’t manage the whole cup at last. Then I came across Stash ,an amazing tea company that really takes great advantage of licorice, since their usage of a little amount of licorice to add flavor&sweetness to fruit blends is impressive and subtle, meanwhile creating a satisfying sweet aftertaste.
Since I love licorice better now, I gave this another try .Hmm,sweet with the same kind of aftertaste I enjoy, this one could be definitely regarded as a yummy choice :3
The tea has a very special and unforgettable aroma when it comes to its dry leaves especially. What I get from the leaves are strong and sweet cinnamon(with clove) ,something similar to orange peel /orange blossom together with some notes of honey. Very yummy ,with detectable almond overtone and not bitter at all when I sniff it.
Brewed hot for about 3 minutes,I find that although all scents blend in perfectly, the liquor is smooth yet very strong ,with the kind of bitterness that I can’t handle alone very well.So last night,I finally gave up my ritual of not adding sweeteners ,and dropped a teaspoon of lavender honey to it. Hurray! It transformed to almond milk! Still with elegant floral and light black tea taste lingering on my palate ,but it’s so much alike with almond milk! The tea is so satisfying with honey, and it even offers the creaminess of almond milk itself~!
Interestingly,I ’ve been wearing Noix de Tubereuse by Miller Harris since yesterday afternoon, whose middle notes remind me of this tea constantly ,with both cleanness(iris and a little fresh soil ) 、sharpness (spicy sweet)、violet-y notes(which I love so much) and creaminess of nuts( tuberose smells somehow like coconut in my point of view). No wonder the two smell so much alike~
