71 Tasting Notes
All I have to add to the reviews before me is that I love this tea, as well. The dry leaves are beautiful and smell great..it reminded me of opening a bag of vanilla beans @ work. It introduced me to corn flowers, which may, or may not add some flavor notes to the final brew, but do have their own aroma…..lmost nutty and something like Caraway seeds? It probably adds to the complexity of the brewed tea.
It’s creamy-almost like caramel with a natural vanilla bean flavor that is satisfying, but never overwhelming. Th Assam is great here
love this tea…sad that I know it will run out and be gone forever haha
Preparation
So, when I put my order in with Fusion Tea Room…I hinted nicely that any samples would be greatly appreciated and offered as reviews on Steepster. Thomas was in a generous Holiday Spirit and sent me a few, including this one
It says Super Fruit, so I naively thought they were just were trying to give it a cute name, but realized later ( my ditz moment) that it was named because the fruit were considered powerhouses in the fruit world.
I’m glad he did. It had a nice fruity-tangy aroma in the bag. What did it remind me of? Fruit stripe Gum!…but in a nice, natural sort of way. Is this what Gojiberries smell & taste like? I’ve seen then many times at health food stores and Asian Markets, but never brought myself to trying them. I will now.
It’s a light brew, so don’t expect a strong green tea here, but the fruit flavors blend so nicely with it. It’s sweet enough with a slight tang in the background that I didn’t think it needed sugar at all. I’ll mis this sample when it’s gone.
This will be amazing iced in the Summer, so I expect to purchase it.
Thank you Thomas at Fusion Tea Room
Preparation
I’m loving this Rooibos. Thank you Fusion for satisfying my sweet craving for Carrot Cake in a healthier beverage. It’s a smooth drink with the authentic taste of carrot cake…hints of cinnamon, walnuts & maple in the background? I did add a little organic sugar to brighten it up a bit. It smells great right out of the bag & it brews a great orange-earthy color
This Carrot Cake Rooibos was the 1st reason that attracted me to Fusion Tea Room, but once I saw the selection I was impressed by the variety…I’m now looking forward to all the other selections and trying all the generous samples that were included in my order.
Preparation
Why haven’t I reviewed this before? It was of my first flavored greens. h, well. I always enjoyed it and I still do. A light brew with a natural, almost floral apricot flavor in the background. Don’t over steep and use correct water temp!
Great iced! I almost exclusively brew it that way
Preparation
Vegan friendly :)
this is the tea equivalent of the Jelly Belly Jelly Bean World of Buttered popcorn-just in Tea ;)
it nicely combines a smooth black tea with buttery popcorn. Not too weird and nice to drink. It’s more subtle, which is good, because then the flavors might get weird…maybe it’s like the black tea equivalent of genmai cha ?..but without the history behind it…and that slight seaweed taste. It’s nice having the buttery-toasty aroma come at you while you are sipping. fun, different
Anyway, I like it….
ok, headed to Times Square on a Christmas Eve to work :/
Preparation
First, the dried leaves smell awesome…like pistachio paste I have used to make ice cream, so rich and nutty.
I brewed it according to Butiki’s instructions-so you know where I’m coming room.
The final tea’s aroma & flavor is not as strong as I would expect from the dried leaves, but that’s not a bad thing.
It’s slightly creamy (vegan, thank you) and pistachio nutty at the same time. Natural, smooth..almost if you mixed pistachio ice cream with vanilla ice cream, but not pistachio ice cream alone ;)
It’s a uniquely flavored tea, The (organic)green tea flavor is present, but is complimented with pistachios
oh, yes..I did add some sugar to it like Butiki suggested
Vegan!
Preparation
I received this as a sample along with my order
nice, floral..roses, jasmine..is that calendula I’m tasting as well? I’ve only smelled it as a candle scent. Nice light Oolong. Tasty.
it blends so well,,,I taste it all-no competing flavors, slightly sweet
my sample is gone….

Thank you Marie @ Teavivre for ending me this generous sample
How can you not appreciate the art & labor when a tea is rolled up into little balls? It’s beautiful to look at.
This brews really nice with a nice, light floral taste that compliments the green nicely. Great aroma, smooth. I’m going to drink this next time I cook Chinese and whenever I’m in the mood for something floral.
Just finished this after a night at work…I immediately had to try it again. It’s really comforting with a mellow flavor. The layers of lemon take center stage ahead of the cinnamon-which is how I like it. It has the perfect amount of tartness.
I bet this tea will be great during the winter months coming home from a snowy wet day and even iced for the summer. All in all it’s a great tea….it’s opening my taste for white teas
