Strange VariaTEA TTB: Tea 25
The ingredients in this spoke to me since I have a cough and sore throat. I also assumed I couldn’t really taste tea so I figured the flavours in this I don’t usually like, I wouldn’t taste. That said, I hated this. It’s very heavily roasted. I added honey and I liked just that because everything else was just strong and unpleasant.

The box returned and it’s huge. I really wanted to have something from it but it’s late and I’m super tired after leaving the house before 6 am. Plus, I developed a subtle cough at work and now my throat is feeling slightly off which could just be because I’m tired. That said, when my throat feels like this, I don’t necessarily pick up on more nuanced flavours so this tea seemed like the right call. Mint tea. Warm and soothing and I know what to expect. It’s not overwhelming mint, but it’s clearly mint and it’s helping my throat.
Made a fancy pumpkin spice latte on the stove top and decided I just wanted to go with a plain black tea so the other flavours could stand out. So the pumpkin and spices did the heavy lifting but this provided the perfect smooth base for those other flavours. Sipdown (223)
Thank you Sil for sharing this with me.
I am really liking this one. It’s like fresh baked bread. And sweet bread at that. A touch of cinnamon and a lot of more sweet honey/caramel notes. But baked goods sweet vs syrup. It’s really good. And packing some much needed caffeine. Check out the pic here featuring an extra treat: https://www.instagram.com/p/CjOu31LOgqM/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Iced Tea with Vanilla Cold Foam Sipdown (225)
Strange VariaTEA TTB: Tea 23
My sister gave birth this week, a month before her due date. So it’s been hectic and I’ve largely been sustaining on iced white mochas with cold foam from Starbucks. Though at some point I decided I wanted to try out my new handheld milk frother and make a cold foam. I decided vanilla cold foam on a plain chai was the. Eat way to go since it was a fairly simple flavour combo. The frother worked great. The tea tasted sorta like bubblegum. So it wasn’t bad by any means but I was very confused.
Ha ha, you can blame me for this one! I bought their dandelion sampler and this is one of two flavors I didn’t feel inclined to try… :P
It was a convenient caffeine free option so thank you for that but also it was terrible tasting so good for you for having enough sense to pass haha
