Chocolate Milk Cold Brew Sipdown (209) mixed with Monkey Chops
I mixed Bonfire Toffee and the last of the Monkey Chops I had from January 2018 (I got more in my order from July) and cold steeped it in chocolate milk overnight. The end result is a smokey chocolate milk. Maybe some toffee and banana is hiding underneath it all if you stop and pay attention. All in all, it is pretty good. A nice way to say goodbye to this blend.
I set this up to steep. Then I got distracted and forgot about it. So my 2 minute steep ended up being more like 5 minutes. Then I talked on the phone for a while so my 5 minute cool down was more like an hour.
Thankfully there is no bitterness or anything. Instead there is a whole lot of popped rice goodness with the sweetness of cotton candy. Actually this may be one of the better cups of this tea I have had recently. Yum! I got one serving left so I need to remember to oversteep next time.
Cold Brew Sipdown (210)
This cup has much more spice than the last. I blame the cold brew bottle. The perk of having the filter in the neck of the bottle means I don’t need to strain out the tea. That also means the tea isn’t strained and this just continues to steep. Hence the extra spice which has this bordering towards savory sorta like this vegan/organic pasta sauce my brother brought home once which was too thin on flavor and on the sweeter side because it had something like squash or sweet potatoes in it.
Brisk but smooth, with no astringency. It is a breakfast tea without bitterness.

Thank you Cameron B for sharing this tea. Alas, this was not the lovely break I hoped for. It was meant to be wild berries and cookies but instead I mostly got hibiscus and generic berry flavor. Still fun to try though.

I am probably not the best judge of this woody/herby tea because at the end of the day I would never pick this for myself. It was alright from what I recall but not to my tastes.

I cold brewed this and while I was setting up the cold brew, i caught a whiff of the tea and thought I made a bad choice because these flavors are better hot. However, they are surprisingly pretty good cold brewed too. There is more sweet fruitiness than the hot cup since the hibiscus isn’t as tart and yet the spices still comes out really well and pronounced.
Earlier I was talking with Kitenna about Fall latte weather and decided to go ahead and make one. I reached for this tea and was so excited for my Cookie latte and yet something is off. It’s thin in flavor. It’s a whole lot of nothing and then some almond.
Sipdown (210)
This tea is from November 2017 and only now have I noticed the coconut going a bit off. I am impressed with the longevity but this was not a great way to say goodbye. I am okay with saying goodbye now though. Perhaps I would revisit in the future but for now I am fine with parting ways.
