I came into this not knowing what a honey butter cookie is and thinking it sounded really good. And then I was pleased to read that even when Anne made this, she didn’t know what a honey butter cookie was. So it’s nice I am not alone there.
Because I didn’t know what a honey butter cookie was, I didn’t know what to expect from this tea. Also, I kept reading this as cookie butter, which I have had and is definitely not what is being emulated in this cup. But, because I was thinking cookie butter, I was expecting more of a sweet cookie butter-like punch of flavor. This tea is not that. It is softer and less an explosion of flavor, like a butter cookie.
It does have sort of a butter cookie vibe to it. Also a little underlying citrus I think. Maybe getting a touch of honey but that is more a honey note that you get with a black tea than the actual flavor of honey (hopefully that makes sense to people who are not me).

Mm, honey butter cookie does sound delicious. I love butter cookies in general, like those Danish ones that come in the tin…
I remember my mother having an empty tin with sewing supplies as well! I still buy them every so often when I see them at the grocery store… ^^’

My tin always had sewing supplies in them. I believe the cookies were a myth :P

Everyone got sewing supplies in their butter cookies tin! I am surprised it works as well in the another part of the World, haha!
