This tea smelled promising. I’m not usually into nutty teas because rarely do they taste any good…looking at you Toasted Walnut.

But this one, being sweet almond, smells more like marzipan than actual almonds.

And it would be good, but here’s the problem. The base is just awful. The initial flavor was good, but that base just ruined it. I steeped it at the temperature on the little box, so if I decide to try again I will be going lower, or just cold steeping it.

I only managed to drink like a third of my mug before I was like, nope. Bummer, because it smells so good but hopefully I can make it work for the rest of the mini tin.
