268 Tasting Notes
It smells like a sugar cookie and it tastes just like a liquid sugar cookie, hand to God. All you need to add is a little bit of sweetener and you are on your way to buttery bliss. I’m not a celestial seasonings fan in general and almost never drink herbal teas, but this one is superb!

Coffee and Tea LTD has already lured me back since my inaugural purchase of their Black tea with almond pieces, which is so so good. In addition to the almond black, I also picked up some raspberry black tea to try. It is a gorgeous tea!! In the bag, it smells like raspberry candy and there are dried raspberries mixed in with the tea. It smells just as heavenly while brewing. Surprisingly, the raspberry flavor is not overwhelming at all! It is just smooth and lovely, especially since I added some frothed milk to my cup. I’m just as impressed by this tea as I was by the almond tea and I will definitely be purchasing some again! Great for my taste buds, not so much for my wallet hehe
Preparation
The tea smells great (like vanilla- shocker!). I drank it with some sweetener and some warm foamed milk. I’m very into tea lattes lately! This tea is a smooth, delicate black tea with some even smoother vanilla over it. Yummers! On a side note, I once decided that since hot chocolate is so delicious with a little irish cream in it, the same would be true for this tea. I was completely, completely wrong! I suppose it’s better to keep your alcohol and your tea separate.

Preparation
Well, I can see where this tea got its name. It smells exactly like coconut curry, which is a bit off-putting. The taste is almost totally dominated by lemongrass with maybe a hint of coconut at the end? Or maybe that’s just a placebo effect because I knew it was supposed to have coconut in it. My neighbor raved about this and gave me a sachet to try but my feelings are just meh about this. It tastes like Aveda smells.
UPDATE: 4 sips in and I hate it more with every sip. Definitely not finishing it.
Preparation
I received this as a gift and was very excited to try it. I HATED it! The taste was just overwhelmingly bitter. I couldn’t even choke down a whole cup (although I tried as I was with the person who gave it to me. Awkward!). In fairness though, I am a legitimate super taster (I’ve been tested), so I am particularly sensitive to bitterness.
Preparation
This tea has a delicious almond flavor and it smells even better than it tastes. I really am in love with it right now! The black tea base is also great. I drink it with a bit of milk to mellow out the almond flavor. It’s a great way to start the day. I think this brand is only sold in Minneapolis and not on the web at all. But for anyone in the area, it’s worth the trip to Coffee and Tea Ltd. They have a TON of flavored black teas. This is the first one I’ve tried from there and I was completely impressed.
Preparation
They have a location at 2730 W 43rd St in the Linden Hills neighborhood, right near Wild Rumpus Books for Young Readers (which is also amazing if you have kids or nieces or nephews or whatever!). They apparently have another location inside the Sears at the Mall of America, but I haven’t been to that one so I don’t know how big it is in comparison to their Linden Hills location.
This is my favorite tea right now! Well, my favorite of two; I can’t pick just one. The coconut is the dominant flavor and scent with a hint of chocolate. It’s like dessert in a cup! I like a strong tea, and this one isn’t all that strong so I leave the tea in while I drink it with around 4 minutes of steeping time beforehand.
