67 Tasting Notes
As as dessert tea, it’s not sweet enough for me… as a normal brew that could I drink everyday normally.. it’s great.. the aroma of this tea is absolutely amazing… I love sipping this tea.. not really tasting it.. I try to think that it’s one of my everyday cups.. it’s just black tea that I could drink again.. I cant taste any almonds though… but it’s alright to drink,,
I think because I’ve had such amazing creme brulee before that this tea won’t live up to it.. and it’s disappointing… I can only just taste something like it.. but honestly, I’d prefer to eat an actual creme brulee, ooh with vanilla… oh!! and a shortbread… drool.
Preparation
I must say, it’s true about the smell when you stick your nose right upto the bag… I was scared about the fig,,, but I did try this and to my surprise I liked it with a tsp of sugar it was quite nice, I don’t know if I’d drink this again… I might, I might not haha.
I literally felt so snug drinking this tea… it was perfect for a cold night and I felt warm and comfortable.. the taste isn’t so sweet but I added a tsp of honey and it was much better.. I loved it… I might drink this again.. but I wouldn’t drink it regular though.. just on a cold night..
Preparation
Ok! Finally did a better steep of this tea, and it was so much much much better than the last time.. it tastes like hot cross buns to me and I love it!! I literally forced a sip to all my friends because they just had to try it,, loved it..
Preparation
oh my golly gosh!! IT TASTES LIKE BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE!! how can a tea taste so lovely?? haha… Im deffinately going to seeking this tea out again,, I love it with just a dash of milk, no sweeteners needed… ohh I’m still dreaming about this tea,, love it. just love it.
Preparation
I’m not going to rate this yet, oh I really am stupid.. it went all wrong!! I made a fresh pot and waited to put the loose tea inside, so I went about downstairs and decided to eat some food and completely forgot about my tea!! So I ran upstairs and threw the tea in the pot… unfortunately, it wasnt even brewing.. saaaaddd… major failure!! I will make this again, PROPERLY.
You could just leave the tea in the water overnight and cold brew it in the fridge. It’s not the same as a hot brew, but it’s still good and you won’t waste tea. :)
Actually, I do reuse leaves from the night before, but the flavor changes from being wet and oxidizing. So it’s not good if this is your first taste of the tea. Oh well. At leadt now you know about cold brewing. :) it’s how I make iced tea in the summer.
I know what you mean – you can’t really taste this tea as much as you might expect, but the aroma makes it lovely.
oh definitely.
