As as dessert tea, it’s not sweet enough for me… as a normal brew that could I drink everyday normally.. it’s great.. the aroma of this tea is absolutely amazing… I love sipping this tea.. not really tasting it.. I try to think that it’s one of my everyday cups.. it’s just black tea that I could drink again.. I cant taste any almonds though… but it’s alright to drink,,

I know what you mean – you can’t really taste this tea as much as you might expect, but the aroma makes it lovely.

Itsyknits

oh definitely.

I think because I’ve had such amazing creme brulee before that this tea won’t live up to it.. and it’s disappointing… I can only just taste something like it.. but honestly, I’d prefer to eat an actual creme brulee, ooh with vanilla… oh!! and a shortbread… drool.

I must say, it’s true about the smell when you stick your nose right upto the bag… I was scared about the fig,,, but I did try this and to my surprise I liked it with a tsp of sugar it was quite nice, I don’t know if I’d drink this again… I might, I might not haha.

I’ve had better teas.. but I actually liked this,, I’m not a big fan of tea bags.. but honestly I didn’t think I’d be drinking it down! It was alright, next time I’ll add almond milk.

I literally felt so snug drinking this tea… it was perfect for a cold night and I felt warm and comfortable.. the taste isn’t so sweet but I added a tsp of honey and it was much better.. I loved it… I might drink this again.. but I wouldn’t drink it regular though.. just on a cold night..

I’m not going to rate this yet, oh I really am stupid.. it went all wrong!! I made a fresh pot and waited to put the loose tea inside, so I went about downstairs and decided to eat some food and completely forgot about my tea!! So I ran upstairs and threw the tea in the pot… unfortunately, it wasnt even brewing.. saaaaddd… major failure!! I will make this again, PROPERLY.

Mercuryhime

You could just leave the tea in the water overnight and cold brew it in the fridge. It’s not the same as a hot brew, but it’s still good and you won’t waste tea. :)

Itsyknits

I wonder if I could resteep last nights tea?? I dont want to risk it to be honest..

Mercuryhime

Actually, I do reuse leaves from the night before, but the flavor changes from being wet and oxidizing. So it’s not good if this is your first taste of the tea. Oh well. At leadt now you know about cold brewing. :) it’s how I make iced tea in the summer.

Itsyknits

yeah I can’t wait to do that for the summer… I dont want to do that now, its far too cold haha

Hello! I’m a girl living in London and abroad tasting tea and reviewing them wherever I go! I have a huge passion for tea and find real comfort in it..

I buy tea samples and collect tea. I have a lovely collection that is still growing, it includes mainly loose leaf teas but I do have bagged. If you’d like to trade some teas just message me and we can send samples to each other which would be lovely..

If any of my ratings are

80-100 – love it, will be buying more.

60-70 – It was good, not amazing, I’ll drink it all.

50-60 – I didn’t like it so much, I won’t buy it again and probably won’t drink it again (unless I have a little faith).

under 40 – I hated it and couldn’t finish the cup.
