WOW. This just keeps getting better. When I entered on Twitter I didn’t even see some of these. I think the first I would brew would be the Summer Fruits blend because I love apricot! http://tavalon.com/p-242-summer-fruits.aspx
If I won the sorapot the first tea I would make is Milk Oolong from Vital T Leaf, because watching the leaves unfurl is the closest thing to the beauty of the taste.
Wow, definitely excited :D I would brew up the Matcha first, I’ve been wanting to try real Matcha since I first read about it, but it’s not extremely easy to find in po-dunk Muncie, Indiana :)
What an awesome contest!!! Thanks for doing this!
If I were to win, I would definitely extend my bow of gratitude to Sir Yorkshire Harrogate of the Metropolitan Tea Company. The first round would be just the tea itself to watch the leaves unfurl, the beautiful coppery goodness emerge, and to be one with the aesthetic art of the teapot itself. It is in the rituals of tea that I find civility, and it is in the artistic beauty of the teapot and teacup that I find inspiration to appreciate the flow of creative expression that is all around me, and for me to share as well. All hail the teapot!!!! :)
This would be awesome! i would definitely make some earl grey because I’m all about the Bergamot.
the more and more i look at this the more i want it :p lol i want to try the matcha cuz cofftea makes it sound so much fun!! and just to be able to watch the leave unfurl in that tea pot!!! my excitement is through the roof!! i keep looking at it and saying “oo i want to try this, and this and this”
Matcha IS fun:) I wouldn’t be able to save it just for “special” occasions. Matcha is my special occasion. My daily life would be so boring w/o it.
Words can’t describe how much I would love to win this. Since the prizes ship directly from the companies that sponsor, I would drink what ever arrives first! But I will say that I have never tried Matcha or Oolong tea so one of those would be my choice for first steeped from the prize package.
Keeping my fingers crossed….
Good theory, I hadn’t thought of that.
I was wondering when someone would think about that :)
What a great contest! Such a great variety of tea to choose from, it’d be hard deciding what to try first!
Well, this is an easy contest…
At a glance, Jade Oolong. I’ve heard about it before, but never tried that specific oolong (unless I’ve experienced it under another name.) And hey, oolong is tops. It’s my starter teas most days anyway.
Enjoying and sharing Earl Grey de la Creme……love love love it!!!
