The black tea base is strong and malty. Very nice. One of the stronger black tea bases I’ve experienced when it comes to flavored black teas. It is very solid.
The peach and apple are well-balanced and the cinnamon is a light touch, this isn’t overly flavored or too spicy. It is just a very well conceived dessert tea with the emphasis placed squarely upon the tea.
I like it!
Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me a bit of this tea to try.
Thank you to TeaEqualsBliss for sending me some of this tea. It is yum!
This is excellent! If you like chocolate mint… you really should try this one. Even if you don’t like rooibos… you should try this one. I don’t taste much from the rooibos, but what I do taste is the chocolate and the mint and it is flavored so well! The chocolate is stronger than the mint (as well it should be, says this chocoholic), and the vanilla undertones provide a really nice, creamy accent to these flavors. This is so good. So very very good.
Backlog:
I revisited this tea back in July and enjoyed my experience with it. It’s sweet. The peppermint gives it a crisp note and I appreciated that the peppermint wasn’t overpowering the cup. The rose is gentle. The white tea is not overpowered.
It’s a really pleasant tea. Here’s my full-length review: http://sororiteasisters.com/2014/07/18/rose-mojito-white-tea-blend-from-the-persimmon-tree/
This tea is SO yummy! I love it!
The green tea/rooibos base is a light-to-medium bodied base, it tastes creamy yet light and very refreshing. There is a slight nutty flavor to the tea that adds a nice dimension to the caramel taste. Sweet and yummy – a perfect dessert tea!
One of the most delicious Oolongs I’ve ever had. Granted, it doesn’t taste how I’m used to an Oolong tea tasting so that has something to do with it. Vanilla overwhelms the normally prominent taste of the tea, but in a good way. Vanilla has a way of overtaking tea sometimes and it can be a turn off, but this is delicate. It’s a full bodied tea with a smooth finish. This will be a staple for me for sure.

2 Resteep:500ml 195°F 4 minutes
I like this better, stronger, closer to an oxidized oolong. Less perfume aftertaste and more sweet.
3 Resteep:500ml 195°F 4 minutes
Weaker, should have gone 5 minutes.
4 Resteep:500ml 195°F 10 minutes
Weaker, last cup
Now, since I love bold flavor I shared this with my co-worker who enjoys mild teas, she LOVED it (4/4).

LOVE
plain and simple…
lives up to the name.
Visit http://sororiteasisters.com at 6pm EST tonight for a full review!
Dry Aroma: Mostly Minty but also a stronger Rose Aroma as a secondary
Post Infusion Aroma: Mostly Rose but a nice refreshing Mint Scent, too.
Color: Light Brown with a little gray.
Taste: Very Nice!
The Rose and Mint are about 50/50 equal in flavor…this in itself amazes me! The white tea is noticeable as well. A great uplifting and refreshing aftertaste! I really like this!
First…this is a SIPDOWN
Second…I am going to miss this one…I LOVE IT
Third…upping the rating! This is AWESOME!
Fourth…Song association in the Music Challenge today is Vanilla Twilight by Owl City

I think Vanilla Twilight would be an awesome name for a tea…
Anyhow…as for the tasting notes:
Vanilla and Spice to the nose
Vanilla, Spice, buttery-smooth, citrus on the tongue!
L:OVE
See previous notes :)
This has a WONDERFUL Vanilla aroma with a buttery hint followed by an array of spices.
The ingredients are large and bold!
It infuses to a lighter brown.
The taste is remarkable. It’s sweet and there is spice but I think more sweet than spice. The vanilla is wonderfully intense and creamy-sweet.
The orange comes out to play the more it cools.
1 cup hot and one cold so far today and I LOVED both! Another hit from this company!!!! YAY!
