Oh cripes. Outta nowhere after making a cup of this tonight I realised I only have enough left of my current batch for…

One. More. Cup.

Ok, I’ll admit it. Time to boost the rating on this one. This must always be in my cupboard, it’s the best fruit tisane I’ve come across. Beats Forever Nuts (because it’s not as saccharine sweet).

I’m really annoyed, too, because I’ve been trying to wean off T2 now it’s owned by Unilever.

But the heart wants what the heart wants.

Drank this tonight after cold brewing for around 24hrs and it continues to be wonderful. A lovely balance of tart sweetness. Crisp apple goodness.

I took a whole bunch more teas upstairs to my bedside tea station last night, thinking of this morning in glee. What I forgot was to take my strainer back upstairs. This morning’s choice was purely based on the fact that I could filter the bits out with my teeth. But heck, this is maybe my favourite fruit tisane right now, so it was a win anyway.

APPLE CRUMBLE! You are so great right now!

Finally making some dents in my cupboard and as a reward, another sealed box gets opened… it possibly should have been something a little older but it’s coming on winter and this is the perfect winter warmer, cosy and tart.

In fact, I had a mug of DAVIDsTEA’s Forever Nuts just before this and I actually prefer Apple Crumble. Less killer sweetness. Gosh, what’s become of me?

This is such a wonderful warm hug of a dessert tea. A touch of sweetener in the hazelnut brittle but apart from that it’s a tart baked good in liquid form.

Picked today because I still had a sample kicking around from when T2 had run out of stock and samples were all I could get! But it’s back in stock as of a couple of weeks ago so I’ve got a cheeky unopened box at home now too.

Also picked because I forgot to pack any infusers or steepers in my bag today and Apple Crumble’s got big chunks I can filter out with my teeth ;)

Hot tip: sweet combination of Raspberry Rush and Apple Crumble doesn’t hold up through a third infusion. I guess I’m asking a bit much trying to steep a black tea a third time!

Had a first strong and delicious infusion of this for breakfast, then added a scoop of T2 Apple Crumble for my second infusion… um, YUM.

Welp… I finally did it. I polished off the last of this limited edition I’d been hoarding since last Christmas. And do you know why I finally did it? Because I realised it reminded me enough of DT’s Fantasy Island that I could accept seeing the end of it and knowing there would still be Fantasy Island.

Sigh.

Ahhhh this is so good. A great cold brew to follow up a poor one from another blend, to remind me how a lovely black tea should cold steep.

Getting close to the bottom. I WILL hoard this as long as possible.

Gosh this one is such a tasty cold brew. I’m gonna miss it so much. I’ve been so sparing with the remaining tea in the bottom of this canister! Drinking it at work today is making me happy.

This one can get a liiiiittle astringent if steeped too long, but that’s my own fault.

I just noticed tonight that my cream expires in the next couple of days so let’s bring on some delicious black teas tonight and get way too much caffeine in my body before bed!
