Haha. Best tasting note ever!

I need to try this one! I loved the brown sugar version.

OMGsrsly

:D I didn’t see a brown sugar version! I’ll have to check for it the next time I’m at the Asian market.

Tabby

It’s sooo good! It tastes like it has syrup in it, haha.

Courtney

This note is great!

OMGsrsly

This one is also incredibly sweet. :)

FreddieMatthews

it is really very tasty I always play https://rocketpayz.com/paypal-casino-usa/ drinking this. A good mood provider

Let me try to combine your theme and my theme together. I write reviews about different sites. For fast work on the Internet, the computer must have a good bundle. Most often lately I write reviews ( https://casinospieles.de/casino-bonus/ohne-einzahlung/50-euro/ ) about online casinos, talk about all sorts of bonuses (the popular bonus “50 euro”), describe how to work with it. It is interesting, useful and curious. Look, now it’s very hard without reviews on all sorts of different “products”. They simplify our lives. Yes? I think you agree with me.

YES. Now this is what I’m talking about when I say ginger tea.

Incredibly sweet, nice and gingery.

This will be perfect for camping. I might even be persuaded to share some with my brother.

sherapop

Okay, now you’ve motivated me to give this another try. I have some envelopes in my cupboard…

TeaBrat

OMGsrsly

It is incredibly sweet, but I don’t mind. :) Lots of ginger!

Sipdown (141)!

I made this to take in my water bottle for work today. Normally I take two full water bottles/thermoses in for my shifts, but since today was just a measly half hour shift I just took the one cup worth. Really – it’s Christmas Eve and I had to go out of my way (while sick, mind you) to go in for a mere half hour of work. I shouldn’t complain, though. A lot of people, especially those is crappy minimum wage customer service jobs like myself, are not fortunate enough to have most of the day off. And, I’m lucky enough to have tomorrow off too.

I received a bag of this as an extra sample from one of the ladies doing the 12 Days exchange with me! I’m really, terribly sorry but I can’t remember who it came from – I didn’t write it down and now I’ve gone and forgotten! If it came from you, let me know so I can properly thank you!

I picked it out today because I thought straight tea might be less upsetting than flavoured tea, since my tummy is significantly calmer but not quite feeling perfectly better. I meant to just steep it for 3 minutes in boiling water as per package instructions, but I lost track of time (I blame ‘sick brain’) and wound up letting it sit for closer to 10 minutes. Fuck.

I drank the first bit while it was still fairly hot, and mostly it was just a run of the mill white tea, though quite bitter from the oversteeping. However, it was much better after I’d let it cool down. I got some sweet hay notes in addition to the bitterness.

Not gonna rate because I screwed up steeping it, but I think this could have been a lot worse considering how much I oversteeped it. Even though I wouldn’t even know where to start to go about looking for it, I don’t really have much of an interest in it. I’m just gonna be content with the fact it was nice enough regardless of my screwing up. Thank you to whoever it was who sent this to me…

Dogbite Williams

I sometimes forget about my tea, and I have let this steep 30 minutes on occasion. It was never too bitter for my taste.

10/7/12 – Bought today at local Asian Supermarket – The one that sell frog legs, for 3.99. I know there are some Pu-erh lovers out there, and I’m gonna start with the bagged one before I start importing kilos like Scarface. I looked it up on Amazon and I think I did good. This local Asian supermarket by me has a whole isle devoted to tea so why not try them all out?

12/6/12 – This has been my daily Pu-erh drinker for now and I’m trying to get through the 100 tea bags. Sometimes I use two tea bags. As always, the taste reminds me of “dirt”.

Do you know those pregnant women who eat “pica” (nonfood items) like soap, detergent, and crayons? Well, as a man in midlife, we go through manopause, and crave Pu-Erh because is tastes like dirt/pica (weird non food item)

Sometimes tea tastes like dirt. It’s ok.
I heard there’s a Crayon/Clay flavored tea coming out for pregnant women!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pica_(disorder)

12/24/13 – Sitting on my shelf at home, I’ll have to drink this up before I hit Kam Man Food Inc at 511 Old Post Rd Edison, NJ 08817 for more Pu-Erh tea.

Bonnie

U R so funny!!!

My favorite tea is oolong but for the first time, I didn’t really enjoy this tea as much. The taste is not so strong if you were to microwave your water versus boiling a pot of water. Overall it didn’t create a good impression for me but I love a good challenge.

I really like this tea although I read a review by a “pro” who gave it really low marks. The tea is pleasant, not overly grassy tasting and is for me a great everyday tea. I don’t sweeten this tea or others I dring typically.

I have been hoarding my sample of this from Kasumi no Chajin for a night when I really needed it, but I recently discovered that my local grocery store stocks it! I had not seen them before because they’re not with the tea: there’s a mysterious section next to the spices featuring loose herbs for blending (lemongrass! eucalyptus!) and more exotic teas. $3 for a box of these, so I can definitely afford to keep them stocked!

I love ginger and I often get nauseous, so this is the absolute perfect tea for me. Plus no steeping involved, so when you are really ill you don’t have to stand around waiting for your tea to be done. The instructions say one whole packet per a small mug but there’s a whole lot in here and it smells strong so I used half of one for one of my smaller mugs.

This is quite possibly the strongest ginger tea I’ve ever had! And I love ginger so coming from me that is a big complement. Warming, spicy, with a nice hint of honey that adds flavor but not overpowering sweetness. And not only is it tasty, the ginger acts as an instant nausea killer. I bet it would be great iced too!

Thank you so much for introducing me to this tea (tisane, I suppose!) Kasumi, I am definitely going to always have it on hand!

Kasumi no Chajin

you are welcome! I will be switching to amazon to keep it in stock, as it is cheaper then my local store. Is good for camping too :P and flavoring mugicha. Yup, I change up water amounts depending on what I want for potentcy too.

Kasumi no Chajin

I have tried hot and cold too, it is much milder cold, but not bad. might try it in my minty mixes this summer.

Alphakitty

I think this one would be amazing in the summer with some crushed mint and a splash of club soda!

This is my first tasting note!
I really enjoy this tea. It is light, refreshing and tastes so natural.
For me the water does not have to be boiling hot for this tea to steep well and steeping time just between 3-5 mins it makes a great on the go tea. This is my morning college classes kind of tea and when the weather is cold it gives this hot cup of tea just that little extra comforting feel.

I love this stuff … when I’m sick, I add about half a packet to a cup of black tea (or any kind of tea really, because I don’t end up tasting much of the tea) and it works wonders on a sore throat.

Kasumi no Chajin

nice.I only recently started trying it in tea, but have been using both for years.

My work friend loves this. I don’t think it has a whole lot of flavor…until you oversteep it, in which case it gets kind of bitter and unpalatable.

I added this tea to the Steepster database. My local Asian market has this Organic version and the Premium Version. The organic version was priced at one dollar more, and has the USDA Organic logo on the package. I bought this after reading the review of the Premium one here on Steepster.

5/15/2013 – Found out I’m not much of a fan of oolongs, so It’s sitting on my tea shelf for awhile longer.

Mmmmm… This is definitely one to remember if you have a sore throat, stomachache, cold, or on freezing nights. The honey, the ginger, a steaming cup – warms you up instantly! For those not accustomed to the taste of ginger, or don’t like strong ginger drinks, this is not for you. The ginger is incredibly distinct, and can be a little overpowering, but the sweetness of the honey and sugar take the bite off it, turning it into a drink that’s sweet, savory, and spicy.

I really like this one! Usually I have to add a bit of sweetener to any cup of tea, but this one is just fine by itself. Very mild, perfect for anyone who says they “don’t like tea.” :)
