Ahmad Tea

To me, a nice blend of black tea and apple favoring.
Nice apple scent, pretty plain apple and tea, no cinnamon or other flavors that I notice.
It did steep dark pretty quick, so for my no milk no sugar drinking, I only needed 30 sec to get a nice strong brew. And multiple cups of tea per teabag.

A good representative of the English tea type; A Bit tannic, strong if you steep it long, medium dark carmel color, good black tea “nose”.
As I don’t use milk or sugar, 30 sec is plenty of time to get a strong tea steep.

Came as part of a sampler kit, I don’t usually do herbal / detox teas.
Mostly I taste the peppermint, and some more subtle other herbs, definitely no “real” tea in this.
It’s pleasant, light yellowish-brown color, maybe it’s doing me some herbal goodness, hard to know.
It is decaf, so good for late in the day drinking.

Im not a big green tea fan, but this is pretty good.
If you steep it long it can have a bitter edge (3 min).
Just steeping for my more normal 1 min, it’s pretty smooth and green.

I really like the Harney & Sons cinnamon; this was a big letdown.
Not very cinnamony, vert plain, just a hint of cinnamon.

A nice blend where you can taste all of the black tea + lemon + lime hints.
Not sour or astringent; if you like lemon tea, this is a subtle shift in the citrus flavor.
This is a strong base black tea, somewhat like a xxxx-breakfast tea, with longer steeping time would come thru milk and / or sugar OK if you like that.

A Nice non-caffeinated herbal tea.

I can’t believe this is my first review of this tea, since it is one of my regular cheap-casual-bagged-tea-great-to-sip-while-I’m-working.
And it is quite solid for a cheap tea. Slightly bitter but bland enough to not divert my attention form work. Forgettable but not bad.

A general, decaffeinated black tea. Nothing too distinctive, just decaf black tea. Nicely balanced strength, not too sharp like a breakfast tea. It does steep dark very quickly.

It seems to be my least favourite of all Ahmad fruit teas I’ve tasted so far. Bland, watery, not only with almost no apple flavour, but also with almost no base black tea in the back. Only slight maltiness and traces of artificial apple.
Huge disappointment.

I generally like fruit teas from Ahmad and this one is not an exception. Very fruity, natural aroma reminding of grandma’s strawberry tart, no sweetness, slight malty background of the base black tea, overall warming sensation. Really nice autumn warmer.

I bought it, already liking Lemon & Lime Twist by Ahmad a lot.
This one’s not as good but still solid. Lots of peach (more) and passion fruit (less) aroma, fairly natural. A touch of sweetness, only threshold acidity, a bit of astringency. Really nice flavoured tea. I need to try it cold.

It’s surprising how much I like this tea.
It is refreshing, with lots of citrus character that doesn’t seem artificial. And despite having a solid malty black tea foundation, it’s not heavy. Great both hot and cold.

I have never had chamomile tea before, so it’s quite a different taste. Definitely herbal, sort of rounded, earthy, smooth.
Not bad, but so different from everything else I’ve had it will take some time to get used to.

Black tea with a medium strawberry flavor – actually nice.

Middle of the road black tea, no special flavoring, but a nice tea.

Mostly green tea flavor with just a hint of lemon.

Hello from Japan. I have barely tea up in my room but this was free and I felt like doing a review since I haven’t done one in awhile. This is decent hot but I feel like it would benefit more as a cold brew. At first the berries hit hard but the slug off behind the hibiscus like pretty much all other brews containing hibiscus. The elderberries add a nice touch that I feel helps to mellow and round out the rest of the berries. A brew to try when it’s available but I don’t think I will go back to. It is almost too sweet.

This is the final tea bag from the swap that will have its review. The stash has been vanquished! I noted that this was “the most boring” of the group. I didn’t get a lot of raspberry nor pomegranate. The tea bag didn’t have any major aroma, either.

Nice Darjeeling. For my tastebuds, very herbal and smooth, very little bitterness. Medium astringency, pleasant overall.
