I’m a huge fan of this tea iced…but this morning in my sweat pants and hoodie, I’m drinking it hot. And it’s great! I think there are one or two blueberries floating about that I might have to fish out and eat. Tasty cuppa!

Although, after looking at the fuzz covered blueberries in the picture, I might pass on eating them today.

I’m drinking the best iced tea ever! Every cup I have made so far has had at least 3 or so blueberries in it. And yes, I ate one.

Twilight

I would totally eat the blueberries!

Alright, based on all of the thumbs up and the multiple reviews from teaequalsbliss, I bought a 4oz tin. That’s right…4 ounces…no sissy samples this time. It’s great! Thanks guys and gals. White Blueberry iced is freakin’ tight.

Been drinking this all morning to get me started (and to punish myself for being a little late to work). This is my favorite smokey tea, though my experience is limited.

I really should be in bed but I this tea is particularly tasty tonight – sweet and fresh and a little thick. So screw it, I can sleep in tomorrow. Tonight, I’m having more tea.

After a 10.5 hour drive, I needed a little tea to decompress. I shared with the husband and his father but didn’t know what size the cups were or the teapot was so I really just sort of guesstimated everything about this tea experience and did it a little more Western-style than I normally do. It was all guess-work so it wasn’t the best cup of this I’ve ever had but it was pretty darn good and enjoyable. Got 3 nice steeps out of it and it hit the spot.

Glad you survived the super-long road trip, Augs! <3

Auggy

Yay! Thanks! It was a pretty fun trip actually but it was nice to be somewhere that I could boil water! ;)

LENA

Strangely enough for black tea, the second brew is pretty good, even better when cold.

Great balancing of flavors. Gets bitter really fast though, so be careful.

Decided to under-steep this time around, see what happens.

Pretty good, not as good as the usual 3 minute steep time though. Seems a bit more of a bitter taste than the longer steep time, somehow… Must have used more leaves than usual.

I was quite amused with the wisps of steam arising from my cup though.

Re-steeped the leaves I had earlier. 180 (degrees F), 2 minutes, 2 teaspoons leaves, 2 cups water.

Still enjoyed it this time around. :)

Wanted something familiar (so I wouldn’t have to think too much about it) and really enjoyable while working on a programming assignment. This was the choice!

This is one of my favorite teas.

It has a sort of smokey taste to it, rather than a grassy flavor typical of green teas. This is a tea I would drink anytime.

I used up the last of what this time, but I should have more next week :D

Finished off the sampler tin today, so I’m logging my last tasting. Overall a good tea, but just shy of extraordinary. Followed the instructions exactly (212 degrees for 5 minutes) and got a pleasant, but mild flavor. I preferred the longer steep that brought out more of the smoky flavors. Good color and a nice aroma round out what I’d say is an agreeable black tea.

I let this one cool before drinking, and the earthyness mellowed out and was replaced by a little bit of bitterness.

Love the earthy flavor, and the great red color. Not a strong aroma, but pleasant. Like the description says, this is a great breakfast tea.
