Adagio Teas

Unmistakably blueberries. The leaves look very delicately rolled, and this goes great with my morning cereal of Kashi Autumn Wheat with dried blueberries. I can usually get two steepings, but any more is stretching it.

Brewed this up this morning and added a drop of bitter almond oil to bring out the almond flavor (I’d found it to be weak previously). It helped and next time I might add some almond slivers as well. Still not a favorite though.

The almond certainly didn’t overpower the tea flavor. I did detect a hint of astringency when I followed the steeping instructions on the package. I generally like my blacks more to the three minute mark than the five. Still nice though.

I switched back to tea this morning in the hopes that it will help me tackle the enormous sewing pile in my room. I picked the Fujian Baroque because it has long been a favorite of mine. Today I noted a smokiness accompanying the cocoa flavor I’m used to. Maybe I’ve set it too close to my Lapsang?

I’ve been drinking so much coffee lately I figured it was time to switch back to tea for a bit. This one is an old favorite and has the body (and chocolatey goodness!) to stand up to all the coffee. Drank it along side home made banana oatmeal brulee. Yum!

This is really becoming a comfort tea of mine.

I love this tea. The more I drink it the more I pick out delightful milk chocolate notes. Maybe hints of cardamon.

Nicely full bodied. I got lots of cocoa notes but didn’t detect any spice or fruit. I really loved this tea.

Tastes like a standard black tea. Good, but nothing spectacular.

Pretty good. Used the last of what I had though.

I wish I could think of something brilliant to say, but really, this is just darn good!

This is one of my “must have” teas – absolutely luxurious spicy flavor, wonderful with milk and honey. A bit overwhelming on its own.

Intensely fragrant and fresh. Would blend well with green tea.

This tea is rapidly becoming my second favorite (next to Darjeeling!). It was my first cup this morning, and I’ve continued drinking it through the day. It has a beautiful deep golden color and sweet, rich flavor.

A full-bodied, rich, tea. An excellent morning cup!

I’ve served this twice now at my EFM study group, and gotten very positive reactions each time. My friends comment on the clean flavor and warm aroma.

Came back from a walk at the beach feeling absolutely parched for a cup of tea. This tea is exactly what i was looking for – bright, refreshing and very thirst quenching.

An excellent tea for everyday drinking – good with milk and sugar, or by itself.

Backlogging this – I decided to try steeping this at a gentler temperature, more like a white tea,as the base is white tea, green tea and herbals. It really did not provide a satisfactory steep. The same tea that tasted delicate and flowery when brewed at boiling temperature tasted weak and watery when brewed at lower temperature.

Adagio must have heard my cry for help when this went out of stock, because it is back, and just as good as I remembered. Light apricot fragrance and flavor that blends very nicely with chamomile and mint. I don’t taste the rooibos in it, or see it in the color, which is a pale yellow green. I need to try steeping it at lower temperature.

A sweet, light, very refreshing tea with a soft fruitiness.

Love this tea!!!! I was wondering if this was the best place to buy it? I just got a sample today.

One of my absolute favorites. This is the best of the chocolate/strawberry combinations.
