It’s time for more damn fine tea. As I celebrated my new tin of Mount Grey earlier, I wanted to give Tiger Assam the attention it deserves…

This might be too strong of a tea for this late at night but it’s tasty. And slightly astringent in that Assamy-sorta-way.

i need to get some of this one from you…er mount grey i mean lol

Yay! One week after we were discussing how it’d be nice to have free shipping from A&D, they offered free shipping! (Or, with a $5 discount to Canada!) Mine showed up today, along with a super snazzy dinosaur magnet!

I’m not a huge Earl Gray fan but for some reason I really like this one. The bergamot is very potent but it’s nicely balanced and the basee isn’t at all astringent. I swear I can taste creamy lemon in this as well. So fantastic.

I think that between this and TARDIS I’m well stocked on EG’s. (About 10 oz combined)

Ok, I’ve got enough to be worried about with my interview tomorrow – I’m not going to let this tea get in my way. It’s time for a sipdown and I’m trying this is my little gongfu pot.

Oolongs are difficult for me because they all taste so similar. This one is floral and a little grassy with a very clean/spring-y taste. I don’t get the “intense juiciness” promised in the description, but I am getting a bit of the peppery aftertaste.

I’m not going to rate this because I have a long way to go before I can appreciate oolongs.

This was tasty but not as cherrylicious as I’d hoped. I think I prefer Chocolate “O” and Bolder Breakfast over this, but I’m still happy I tried it!

I thought I’d be able to make this tea last longer into Fall, but no such luck. It’s just too good and too comforting and it’s exactly what I wanted.

Thanks Courtney for the sample! I was curious about this as I like the Hot Cinnamon black tea, but wasn’t sure how the green would compare.

Apparently it’s just a milder version! The cinnamon is hot but I can still taste the green base behind it. I couldn’t tell you what kind of tea it is as I’m not a green tea expert. I don’t think I’d switch over to this version, but I’m happy I was able to try it out!

Pretty good! Wish it had more anise this time around.

Shadowfall

You want me to send you some from mine? Lol!

Maybe? We’ll see if I’m still crazy about it when I finish my 25g bag. :P

This turned out thick and malty and… thick. Hmm. Not digging it this time around.

Oh, I love this. It really reminds me if raspberry jam with a bit of custard creaminess. Last time I had this, I think I drank it all on a week. Always overleaf it…. mmmm

I’m glad you still love it. It’s nice when you finally get favourite back in your cupboard and discover that it’s just as good as you remembered!

So Kittenna’s review of this tea made me a bit apprehensive about the 1 oz that just arrived in the mail today, but I am enjoying this.

It smells delicious. We both agree on that! But I find that this rooibos is very reminiscent of carrot cake – vanilla frosting and all. I’m actually getting a cake-y mouthfeel too with each sip, but maybe that’s just because I haven’t had rooibos for a while. It smells sweet – like caramel and vanilla.

I won’t bother resteeping it though. I find DTT teas are one-use only.
