Oh, this is really amazing. I’m happy I ACTUALLY didn’t oversteep this. I’ve just had bad luck with teas lately and I didn’t want to ruin this one. I’m training someone to take over my post too so it’s going to be harder to log notes as well as time steep times. :|

I bought it because the community was pretty much raving about it, and it was on sale. Boy, am I happy I did. First sip is bright and golden – sweet with notes of hay. And that something else lurking in the background must be the peach – I couldn’t put a name on that flavour, but when I read the description that just felt right. :)

I can’t wait to finish this cup, and the 6 oz still in my tumbler, because as soon as I pour that into my cup, I will start re-steeping the leaves to prep for round two!

As much as I love the Taiwainese Premium Assam, I think I’d like this one on hand all the time too!

I drank this hot yesterday and was disappointed, even though I used more leaf than normal to help bring out the taste.

I cold-steeped it overnight and was much happier with the result, but I still feel like I’m missing something based on everyone’s reviews. Oh well.

So, even though I have a lot more matcha out there to experiment with, I think this one is a winner! Added to shopping list!

A: A raspbery truffle matcha latte WITH a white chocolate macadamia cookie.

This is a damn fine timolino mug tea. It’s always hit or miss when you drink from a tumbler, but this one shines. It’s almost creamier this way. I’ll have to remember that!

It really tastes like fruit juice. Sweet, vibrant and just slightly tart but not unpleasantly so. I iced the entire sample in a pitcher and don’t expect it to last the weekend! This is one that you need to buy by the tin in the summer. Maybe I’ll snag more before I go East.

I am sipping away at my cup of Laoshan Black, with another 6oz in my Timolino, while my baby is leaning against my chest and sleeping. I’m sitting at my desk and reading fanfic/doing other computer things.

This is a pretty great way to start my Saturday.

I think I’ve only got one cup left: sadness. This tea is just so great and it’s grown on me. The baby is super grumpy and won’t sleep and she wore me down. Now I’m drinking this to recover and it was the elixir I needed.

It always seems like I get less cups than the package would suggest, but it doesn’t help that I drink 10oz cups and usually have to add a little extra.

At the very latest, I will have placed a new Butiki order by Black Friday.
(Gosh, I’m so sleepy that I almost called it Black November)

And that’s another H&S that’s finished. I had several cups and enjoyed each, but am not convinced that this is one I need to restock.

Hmm.. I don’t remember it having those sweet and smokey tones before. It sorta reminds me of Tealux’s Four Knights!
