467 Tasting Notes
Thank you Red Leaf Tea for this lovely sample!
Pistachio ice cream is a favorite of mine, so I had high expectations. Oh, this is wonderful! Creamy, nutty just what I would expect.
I made this with cashew milk so it was extra creamy but only 35 calories per cup. It doesn’t seem to froth as much as sometimes but I think of it might be the cashew milk. I’ll have to try it with soy, almond or coconut.
After a nice long stretch of warm weather (40-50 degree) … yep, we had snow! Four inches! I’m sure it won’t last too long but, man, I had get my boots out again.
I spent most of the day drinking hi caff teas and now I need to settle down with a lower caffeine tea. This isn’t caffeine free but it sure is good and very relaxing.
I don’t usually write a note on teas I have already posted but it seems I haven’t posted anything lately. I don’t want people to think I died or worse… stopped drinking tea. :) Mostly I have been drinking teas in my cupboard that I really like… so usually nothing to add about them.
I got out my Fruity Pebbles. I hadn’t had it in soooooo long I had forgotten how nice it is. I’m really enjoying it and I feel I can safely keep my rating at 90. I’m going to have to have this more often especially since I can get it at the grocery store. :-D
Thank you Thain of Buckland for this lovely tin. Thain blended this and came up with a lovely chai. It is nice a full bodied chai. There are some lovely notes of orange and vanilla that I don’t always expect from a chai.
The combination of the honeybush and rooibos make it a low caffeine tea which is very nice. I like a full bodied chai but I don’t want too much caffeine. This really hits the spot!
So often the fandom teas are a bit disappointing but I have to say this is very enjoyable and reflects the personality of The Ponds (Rory and Amy from Doctor Who). I’ll be watching for more blends by Thain of Buckland AKA Laur Marriott. (I also enjoyed her Romana blend.) Thanks for a whole tin of this Thain!

A very nice honey bush with a nutty taste. In all, a smooth tasty tea. I have about an ounce which I am glad for because I think I’ll enjoy this a lot. I often need a good caf. free alternative to my favorite flavored blacks.
Adagio is only about 20 miles a way so there is some chance of getting there some time for a refill.
I’ve used this mix before and enjoyed it with soy milk. Today I used the unsweetened chai concentrate with unsweetened cashew milk. I’m in love!!! The cashew milk is sooooo smooth and creamy. There are only 25 calories in 8 oz of the cashew milk and zero calories in the unsweetened chai so it becomes an excellent choice when I really want a luxury dessert. No guilt! Super easy. I just heated it up in the microwave oven.
This is a very enjoyable raspberry/vanilla tea. The rooibos is light and does not overwhelm the tea. The raspberry is very juicy and nice. From the Herbal TTB I have a ton of rooibos teas to try, which can be very variable. This goes the in the “win” column!
I am not a big pu-erh fan so take this with more than a grain of salt. I sort of had to push myself to make this so I could do another sip down.
Kind of a mild leathery taste. Not bitter or astringent. Nothing wrong with it but confirms that I am not a pu-erh lover.
Thank you ThainofBuckland for this sample!
Nice creaminess with a touch the alcohol flavor you might expect. Not much of pumpkin flavor. Still it was a very lovely cuppa.
It’s the beginning of tax season for my accountant husband. He has started working 7 days a week, 10 or more hours a day. :( This will continue thru April. I feel I should be able to use all this time wisely but I haven’t got a clue…
OMG sounds amazing
Damn; makes me want to try this one even more!
