Sipdown

When I opened the pouch this final time, the aroma was pure escalloped apples. Have you ever had the ones from Stouffer’s? That is exactly what this smelled like.

Steeped, the apple is lighter and the buttery coffeecake smell is stronger. I am not noticing the briskness I got the first time after the meal so I may have overleafed that time.

This is a very nice tea and good for relaxed sipping as the melting snow drips from the roof and trees and sounds like rain as I read on the sofa. That kind of tea…

Bio

I am a music teacher, tutor, and former homeschool mom (25 years!) who started drinking loose leaf tea about fifteen years ago! My daughters and I have tea every day, and we are frequently joined by my students or friends for “tea time.” Now my hubby joins us, too. His tastes have evolved from Tetley with milk and sugar to mostly unadorned greens and oolongs.

We have learned so much history, geography, and culture in this journey.

My avatar is a mole in a teacup! Long story…
