Arby drank Raspberry Cheesecake with Lemon Swirl by 52teas

I swear I’ve reviewed this tea several times.

It does have a fairly strong tea base and I can taste the fruity lemon/citrus, there is a touch of raspberry also. Every cup I’ve had (5 or 6 now) I’ve been looking for the cheesecake and can’t find it anywhere. nothing vanilla, no creaminess, no cake/dessert flavour, no cream cheese flavour. I would have really like some graham cracker and some creamy rich cheesecake flavour, since that is what drew me to the blend. I think I would recommend a fruity milk oolong (dairy free, obviously) to bring out that sweet creamy flavour a bit. Even with milk it just isn’t quite there. The base is vegetal and lends some fruity flavour but not enough for a blend with this name. I’m not loving the base anyway, I don’t enjoy vegetal teas most of the time except jade oolongs and long jing.

I am a biochem major hoping for a career in research genetics and evolutionary biology. I love science fiction and spend too much of my time reading comic books. I’m a passionate keeper of spiders, cacti, and exotic plants. I eat a vegan, plant-based diet for moral and environmental reasons (I mention this only because it is relevant to which flavoured teas I drink).

I drink mostly flavoured and low caffeine teas/tisanes, but I will try anything twice. As far as pure teas go, I gravitate towards whites, yellows, and jade oolongs. I’m always open for trades and sample sales/exchanges. Message me any time :)
