This is very coconutty, but falls a bit flat. I don’t think it is due to the flavor, but I am starting to not love the black tea base used in these flavored teas as I branch out and try other brands. Flavored blacks used to be all I drank…I think I just prefer oolongs and pu erhs more. But if you enjoy other flavors that Adagio has to offer, this one is a solid choice if you also enjoy creamy coconut!
Preparation
This tastes like liquid cinnamon, very very similar to the spiced apple rooibos from Teavana. I love it, because I am nutty for cinnamon, but it definitely isn’t for the faint of heart! I recommend toning it down a bit and making it a bit more like dessert through using a little milk.
Preparation
This is like drinking sweet cinnamon. I am totally, and completely fine with that. Admittedly, it would be considered to bold and in-your-face for many. But I am a cinnamon fiend!! It isn’t the most unique flavor ever, Bengal Spice celestial seasonings tastes just like this, so I doubt I will repurchase.
Preparation
This is a good everyday oolong for me. It is definitely fruity combined with a mineraly taste, and it holds up well to multiple steepings. Oolong is my favorite tea to have unflavored, and I am glad to have found this one for my day to day oolong fix!
Preparation
Holy fish! This doesn’t smell like much of anything dry, but upon brewing it smells very fishy. But then you sip it, and there is a bit of an aquatic note, but it isn’t nearly as fishy as it smells unless you are taking a huge whiff while sipping. It is less nuanced than many others I have tried. Good, but not great.
Preparation
This is very tasty, but where is the tea? I see it in the teaspoon I used, but it seems to be very much overpowered by the spices. They are tasty though. I taste some pumpkin, and cinnamon, and a bit of chocolate and some nutmeg. I think it succeeds at pumpkin spice without being too pumpkin-y.
Preparation
I thought this was a decent tea. It tastes like black tea and definitely does have a creamy flavor to it. On it’s own, it is unimpressive to me, but I bet it is extremely complimentary in blends as the cream flavor doesn’t taste too artificial or overwhelming but it is still present.
