From the HHTTB2
This tea reminds me of Fruity Pebbles. Remember those? They had/have (?) Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble on the front of the box. I’m not sure my kids even know who the Flintstones are!
Anyway, this tea has a very fruity notes at the start of the sip and a floral finish. There are strong berry notes, but I wouldn’t call it a berry tea. There are definite notes of apple and pear as well. The floral note is pretty basic. It’s not lavender or jasmine or rose. It’s just floral. Now that I think about it I’m impressed H&S managed to make this tea without having it taste like potpourri. It could easily have been overdone on the fruit or floral end, but the tea is well balanced. I think it would make an excellent iced tea, and I think the dark red color of the tea would look lovely in an iced tea glass.
While this isn’t my favorite decaf tea I wouldn’t pass up a cup if it were offered to me.
Yabba dabba doo!
Lol. That’s exactly what my eleven year old said when I asked if he knew who the Flintstones were. :)
