This is a decent dry stored tea that sells for really cheap. It’s not exceptional, but perfectly drinkable. It delivers quite a strong aroma of tobacco, autumn leaf pile and overripe apple. Taste is also pleasant – balanced, spicy and slightly on the bitter side. I could notice some notes of butter, clover leaf and nettle. There is almost no astringency present in the medium bodied liquor.
One thing that surprised me about this tea is how green the leaves look despite the 10 years of aging. The compression is tight, but not extremely so.
