i don’t love davids tea…but i’m always willing to try new things. verdict is, that i prefer other puerhs. This one is sweet…not super sweet but enough that the puerh takes a back seat to everything. I prefer it when the puerh is more to the forefront, with the flavour accompanying the tea instead of supplanting it. over all, not a terrible tea but i’d pick up other versions of this tea first.
Interestingly, I have a sticky toffee tea from Whittard that I like blending with plain puerh. That way, I can kind of control the level of flavoured stuff versus earthhy, farmy puerh goodness.
