Oh its nice to be home.
I am just back from a hugely busy trip, to NYC and Indiana, which was a lot of fun, but I’m so happy to be home among the teas.
The trip had very limited tea drinking, I’m afraid. I brought a few bagged teas, and had to make them with a coffee maker, which no matter how hard I scrub always leaves a faintly coffee like aftertaste. Bleh.
I’m also ashamed to report that I bought no new teas on this trip, no matter how much I wanted too. It was too busy to get to the tea shops, and when I did run into teas they were the usual things, like Republic of Tea, and so not worth using up valuable suitcase space.
Its about a hundred degrees back at home, but at least its not humid here! And more importantly, proper tea is here!

I love tea! I confess that I was a hot chocolate lover for most of my life, but recently a switch has gone off in my brain, and suggested that I might just love tea. And I do!
I’m a bit of a novice, but an enthusiastic one, and am happily sipping new varieties all the time.
I love vanilla, fruity, and caramel flavors, and cant wait to try more.
