Umm…yummy delicious amazing. I loved this I am so happy to have had the opportunity to try this, as I was one of the 10 winners. The best part is how long the flavor lingers past the sip and sollow. Even my 3 yr old daughter loved. She has a very sophisticated pallete. Don’t worry she only had a touch. I would recommend this to everyone.. Did I mention it has a sweetness that appears a minute or two after you drink it. Amazing! Thank you DoMatcha!

Wow this tea was an amazing scentual experience from the time I opened the sample packaging. At first when black it was a little lacking I would have to say thin. It needed more body so I decided to add milk and sugar and on my first sip it was still just okay. Then on my next sip a little better, then again and again I drank this tea and it truly grew on me almost immediately. Fantastic, it reminds me of “Rose Milk” a drink I used to drink as a child. Such wonderful memories came to mind and I was almost immediately wisked away to India. Beautiful indeed. I do wish the rose was just a little stronger. I will drink this again. :o)

Just goes to show you, different strokes for different folks. I logged this one today too and really didn’t enjoy it much, but glad you did -

I saw your post and I was concerned based on your experience especially since I had such high hopes for this one. I am glad I enjoyed this but sorry you didn’t. As you said “different strokes for different folks.” Still a bummer.

Yeah, interesting — I never tried it with additives but I liked it quite a bit plain. Though I steeped mine for only 3 minutes.

First a Rose Milk lotion and now a Rose Milk drink? This actually sounds yummy! I must look this up.

Rose milk is made of milk and a rose flavored syrup usually found in Indian grocery stores. It is sort of like a bottle of syrup used to flavor coffees, lattes, and such. It is very delicious and for sure the tea is much healthier.

Me: Not a huge fan of straight mint. I usually like vanilla or cream flavors added. With that said it isn’t bad just strong but it could be how long I brewed it. I decided not to finish it and gave it to my husband.
Husband: I really felt it was a very minty delicious tea. Much better hot not cold. If however it was iced it would need sweetener. Otherwise delicious and would definitely drink it again and again.

Sounds like the ideal desert tea

RachanaC (Rachel)-iHeartTeas

You may be right. I will have to try it again with some sweetener. Usually I like to drink tea straight. Usually, the exception is with chai’s.

Ah it was ok. Nothing seriously huge about this one or as it is “nothing to write home about” May have to try it again to make sure. It was sorta grassy/earthy but like I said no “Wow” factor here.

Okay so this one I saw while at Barnes and Noble and thought I wonder what everyone else that tried this tea felt about it on Steepster? So I jumped onto the Steepster website on my iPad and it seems people really liked it, so bought it. So what did I think you say?

Yummy, it actually tastes a little spicy like a Thai tea would taste I tasted the Ginger the most. The coconut was very much on the backend and it was very faint.

Moral of the story… I love Steepster and my iPad (haha) they helped me make a delicious decision. :-)

Funny that you should mention that this “tastes a little spicy like a Thai tea” since this tea was originally called “Bangkok.” When the name changed it suddenly became the most popular tea at both the B&Ns that I worked at. ;)

Weird…it does say on the tin that it is a Thai style tea and I only said that because I truly felt that rot be true. It has that spicyness that you only get in a Thai tea. Still I must admit they had me at the ingredients. I don’t know I’d I would have given it another look if it only said “Bangkok” tea.

Not bad, very sophisticated rich flavor profile. Very earthy you can taste the age if that is even possible. It is very tasty. The cinnamon and cardamom are bold but not enough to take over the tea. I made this black but will try it with milk and sugar another time and will report back. I so however wish there was a bit of a stronger presence of the spices.

Yummy, getting flash backs from when I was a kid. I prepared this one in the traditional Indian way. Which means I made it on the stove with milk and sugar or as my mamma does. :-). It is full of body the spices are balanced well. It detected a very tiny amount of pepper taste. Literally a bitty bit. Great when you’re trying to warm up or just need that cozy feeling.

Sweet but not overly. Didn’t really taste a lot of Jasmine, I wish there was more of a presence. I did notice a white grape sorta taste to this. Ok but could be better.

This one is rich and creamy vanilla and mint in just the right amounts. It tastes great hot and iced. I have had this one about 3 times and it truly is a quality tea. Yum!
