299 Tasting Notes
I will probably reorder this when I run out because yum, coconut. Of course, I have 2 other coconut teas coming and David’s Tea Cocomint is my favourite tea on top of that, so maybe I don’t need to. :P It is yummy though. The fruity-spicy.
I totally forgot about this when it was steeping. Whoops.
Preparation
This reminds me of licorice jellybeans because it has a real sweetness to it, and the anise is the most attention-grabbing flavour (and then light cinnamon)… perfect after-dinner tea. The only thing that bothers me is that it’s really hard to measure it out or judge how much to use because it’s such huge chunks of things.
Yes! Measuring this out is such a pain. You have to almost judge whether or not you’ve dumped in too many pieces of cinnamon or anise in relation to cranberries and green leaves.. but it has its unique charm :/
Ha, this exactly! It’s all good bits so it’s not like you can really mess it up… but I bet it’s hard to get the same mix twice!
Hmmm. Maybe I should give this a real chance. I just didn’t like the store sample.
Yeah, it’s def my fave of the3 ornament ones. It just smells so pretty and yum!
This is such a wonderful warming tea. I love how it just kicks around in my mouth with no rush to leave, oh so nice and smokey goodness.
I resteeped this, too, which I rarely do & it’s still wonderful.
Preparation
I should probably stop resteeping my non-oolong teas or I will never drink them all before they go stale!
It’s probably a sign of my deadened taste buds but resteeps always taste bleh to me. (Except this one, because it’s a pretty powerful tea!) I haven’t had the oolong yet, though.
I think this is my favourite winter/xmas tea blend. I just love the soft noggy smell (way more than actual egg nog)..
Haven’t logged much tea lately because I haven’t HAD much tea lately! Has been all Timmy’s coffee and colas and gingerbread spice lattes from Starbux :P but I’m enjoying a well-earned break right now. New beds tomorrow means moving all the beds and cleaning everything TODAY. Sigh.
Oh hey, this tea has a really nice egg noggy aftertaste, too. :D
Yum! I like the sound of that. I have Winter Nog but it’s not EggNog-ish enough for me – maybe because of the Rooibos base.
I was snooping the Shanti Tea website – seems like their prices are reasonable! (I.E., less than what I usually pay for tea at DavidsTea). I may have to try them out at some point! #eventually
Those lattes are so tempting! I want MOAR.
I like their Raspberry Earl Grey, too ;)
