I’ve tried this one several times now in several different ways, including various steep times, temperatures, with and without milk and/or sweetener, but I still am not tasting salted caramel anything. The smell is lovely, but I am really not even getting caramel at all in flavor. It still is a nice black tea blend with some sort of sweet touch, but that is about it.
A bit let down from expectations based on the name and description of this tea. I won’t buy this one again, but that said I am not sad that I still have around 30g left. Maybe I will try to blend it with some of my others and see what kind of pleasant black I can come up with until sipdown. Going to lower the rating a bit though to reflect the lack of salted caramel.
Yes, the caramel saltiness eludes me as well. This is one mysterious tea!
