This is good, more nutty than chocolate. That works for me because I don’t always like chocolate flavoring. I was surprised how nutty it tasted and that I waited for the correct temperature.

Thanks Kat_Maria for sharing :)

I was not expecting to enjoy this as much as I do. It was on my maybe list of teas to try from the box but as soon as I read bluebelle’s latest note on this I knew I must try it.

It is a yummy apple tea with sweet syrupy like molasses with a little spice. I’ve already had two cups and I think I would consider getting this come Fall.
Thanks Pyroxy for sharing!

It’s always nice to find something that is even better than you thought it might be. :)

I have no idea why I picked this as my first tea last night because I remember checking out the not very positive notes on this one while anxiously waiting for the box to arrive and knew I did not want to try it. I think it was the word coconut and vanilla, two of my favorite things and it smelled good. It tasted how I would imagine coconut vanilla lotion would taste if it were sweet and edible and seemed as if it was missing the tea. I can see how someone could like it and I’m tempted to see what my brother thinks of it.

I was reading all the wonderful reviews on this tea as I waited for the water to boil; I was getting excited to try this, I love chocolate. I had forgotten I don’t like chocolate flavoring. :( I’m kind of bummed because chocolate tea sounds great. I think I’m ok with real chocolate or cocoa in tea it’s just the artificial stuff I seem to not like.
After drinking half the cup I did add some milk and could taste the hazelnut but the fake chocolate was still in the background. Many, many, many people do love this tea.

Oh no. I had high hopes for this one too but really didn’t like this one.

I have been holding off on finishing the 1.5t I had left for awhile because I was hoping to find some marshmallow root to add and see how it was. I don’t need a $15 pound of marshmallow root. Maybe someday I will be able to find a smaller amount and try it.

This is smooth and creamy, neither the bergamot or vanilla smack you in the face. I would get this again if I was placing an order and was running low on EGC. I’m not playing favorites yet.

drank Golden Honey Dew by Lupicia

Thank you so much sweetjump62359, you are wonderfully awesome just like this tea it is soooo soooo good. I can see how it is your favorite.

Honey dew may be one of my favorite fruits that I never buy because I always pick the wrong ones. This taste and smells just like honey dew. I forgot how good green rooibos can be. I knew from the moment you mentioned it I would fall in love it and not be able to live without it. Thanks for sharing this special tea with me:)

Edit: To get the most out of this one little sachet I steeped one more time with hot water that was not enough so I iced it and then cold steeped it 2 more times. Every cup was great and my son likes it also!

Too bad we didn’t know of this resounding deliciousness when we placed the order!

This was part of my first purchase from MissB in January. I picked this as an add on because it was organic and I figured it would be good iced and it is.

The dry leaf smells like a freshly pealed orange.
I’ve been cold brewing this green tea and it taste like the peel of an orange without being too bitter, very refreshing. My son likes it and has been requesting it a lot lately so it is know gone and I may have to get more sometime.

drank Je t'Aime by Nina's Paris

Thank you Variatea for the sample that led to my first Nina’s purchase. I still have not tried the others yet. I’ve been too busy drinking this the last few days in-between my normal Earl Grey’s. I need to slow done before I grow tired of it.

This yummy tea is sweet caramel and vanilla not astringent at all very smooth. It even tastes great as it cools. So of course I tried it iced and still a nice sweet caramel vanilla tea.

VariaTEA

Yay! I am so glad you enjoyed it :)

drank Bubble Gum Matcha by Red Leaf Tea

Thanks MissB for adding such a fun flavored matcha. It brought back memories of my Grandpa taking me to Baskin&Robbins when I was little. I always got the one with bubble gum because it was like getting 2 treats in one. I think I may try and make matcha ice cream with this.

edit: Oh, I had this as an iced latte and it tasted like childhood memories and bubble gum ice cream :)

This weekend I went to a bigger Whole Foods than what is closer to my house and was happy to see they had Rishi in bulk bins so I was able to get as little as I wanted and the price was at least 50% cheaper then when I buy it already boxed.

First try: so far I like it, like sweet toasty popcorn, I’m already thinking about making another cup.

Can this be a meal replacement? I think if I already ate too much for the day it could.

Edit: already had a second cup in one night, yumm. I’m going to have to get more soon. I can’t wait to try the fun flavored ones :)

I feel I have lost part of my identity.
I was addicted to coffee until I got sick Dec 1 2013 and since then I have had 3 6 cups of coffee(I lost count but it’s not everyday and I don’t enjoy it like I once did). Now all I can think about is tea. I do not know if this is a phase or not but I’m enjoying it.

I’m having fun trying dessert teas right now. It has helped me eat less without even trying and I have lost a few unwanted pounds which surprised me during this past holiday season.

I love Earl Grey, Earl Grey Cream, Vanilla black teas. I like straight blacks I just don’t know how to describe them yet. I have a hard enough time describing flavored teas.

Please don’t pay attention to my notes, my taste changes all the time and sometimes if I only try something once I don’t always get the opportunity for it to grow on me or understand it better.

Steepsters is the best community!
I love everyone here :)

I’m a stay at home mom/wife most of the time and work part-time at a local coffee shop.

I’m looking into knitting just so I can make cozy for my Timolino.
