Tired, with sore arm, both because of my first Covid-19 vaccine shot, but happy I got it. Unhappy about my exam from mathmatics I took yesterday, I will write the teacher, as I am a bit afraid they have not checked all the papers I retuned. If I truly failed, last attempt (ever!) will be 2nd July. So, there is hope. And well, time to focus on the problems and not the theory.
But after a few days hiatus, here I am again, drinking another cold-brew tea hot. I have to agree with Cameron B. in most of her tasting note. It is a bit flat, flavoured rooibos. I could notice a bit of strawberries, but coconut and creaminess nonewhere to be found. I have been expecting more jammy note as well. When I was adding a vanilla part of my vanilla-mango ice cream I had with it, it truly awakes the flavours, but I hadn’t got enough ice cream to add it completely to the hot cup. And mango would ruin it I am afraid; so I need to buy a bourbon vanilla ice cream soon.
While it wasn’t a bad tea, I have been expecting way more.
Flavors: Fruity, Rooibos

Yeah for your vaccine! I hope you pass on July 2! I’m glad you are planning on trying this with ice cream. It’s the best. Because you mentioned not tasting coconut I had to check to see on their site if they are still using coconut to this blend and yes they are. I wouldn’t mind if they stopped using coconut and used something like marshmallow root… or anything else really. Hey, they changed the blend of their bonfire toffee, so maybe they will eventually change from the coconut.
Praying about exams!
Use your arm and hydrate! That was the advice we were given with our shot. Also, when you get the second shot, make sure you eat good, nutritious filling food each meal the day before and day of. That way if you start feeling bad you will not also be too hungry!
tea-sipper: I hope too. It’s not much time to prepare, especially when I had similar amount of time this time, but ces’t la vie. I am curious how this tea will work out with ice cream :)
ashmanra: Thank you! While I was getting my shot I was just said no alcohol for the weekend (I got it on Friday) and no hard work with my arm :) It still hurts now and then, and I feel rather the tiredness now than sore arm. Eating a good food seems like a good idea. I hope second shot wouldn’t make me feel bad though.
I should have said move your arm! That was what we were told. But I can see doing hard work with it could be bad. I just waved mine around a bit and used the blower for the patio with it, ha ha! But the second shot was more sore and the soreness lasted longer and I had a red oval there and a lot of heat coming from the rash for several days. But not terrible. Only one day of feeling bad, too, with second shot. Everyone is different though!

Congrats on the vaccine, Martin! I hope you were able to get some good rest over the weekend. Good luck with your exam! I know they can be so stressful.
