I was sure I’d reviewed this before but it’s not showing up if I did. I’ve only gotten probably two good cups out of my large quantity of this that I started with. This particular cup was not a good one but a better overall representation of this tea. It’s vegetal and not in a good way. It also is somewhat metallic tasting and tastes a bit like mud. The more pleasant cup I’ve had of this had some lovely creamed corn notes and greens.
Flavors: Corn Husk, Metallic, Mud, Vegetables

Oof. Sounds bad. We have a Tung Ting from Tin Roof Teas that we love, mainly with breakfast. It may be sourced from Teageschwendner.
It was a gift from a family member but I’m definitely trying to finish it off. It’s mostly stems compared to leaves and I wonder if that’s part of the issue. Red Blossom has a lovely Tung Ting Tea from what I recall.
Sounds like you’re forcing your way through the bag :/

Sad to hear – I find that once teas taste metallic, that’s kind of the end of their life. I really dislike that flavour. Tung ting should be so creamy and delicious (in my recollection)!
