This time I tried steeping this tea according to what Lupicia recommends and it ended up tasting oversteeped and slightly bitter, unfortunately. I think this one works better steeped at 175F.The cherry in this particular cup at this temperature is coming across as cough syrup-like. This tea seems too delicate for boiling water much like jasmine greens are. It really is a lovely tea. I’m curious as to how the black tea version compares to the green.

I just had the black version and I enjoyed it! I had it with food which may taint my opinion a bit, but the pink peppercorns and rosemary added a very savory vibe and the cherry tasted like cherries rather than cough syrup to me, i have never had the green, only the sample sachet of black I just received.

I like the green one steeped at a lower temperature. The lower temperature really brings out the rosemary. I have so many Lupicia teas still to try that are on my wishlist.
