688 Tasting Notes

Got this because I wanted to try more oolongs. Most unflavoured oolongs smell like plants to me. It tastes kinda woodsy. Very mellow.

My taste buds are still being weird, so I think I need to try some more.

After my visit to a tea house a couple weeks ago, I decided that I do like green teas. I used to, but haven’t had any that often anymore. Think I might have a cold or allergies or something, ‘cause I can’t taste this very well. The ginger flavour does come out though, and I like it.

Will have to try again when I’m feeling better.

I’ve been wanting to have some more green teas lately. That might be do to visit a Tea House on Sunday. Pretty sure I’ve never had this type of tea before. Nice scent, kinda like veggies. The flavour is mild, and a little sweet.

This is my first Teavivre sample. It’s also the first oolong I’ve had recently that I didn’t over-leaf. Agree with the others, it does smell and taste like vegetables. Mmm… veggies.

This came to live on my tea shelf earlier this week. Finally got my pumpkin rooibos. And it smells really good. The is a nice blend of spices and pumpkin which goes well with the rooibos base.

Slightly belated b-day tea time. This did just come today.

Think I used too many pearls, I’m not used to that type of tea yet. Anyway, this smells so good. The flavour is kinda sweet, and floral. Not sure if I’ve anything ginseng before, but this is really good.

So I had a cup of this for my birthday, which is today.

It does nicely smell like coconut chocolate cupcakes. The flavour is sweet, and cakey. And the chocolate comes out well with the coconut. Since I brewed without enough leaf, I think I need another cup.

Mmm… that does smell like spice cake. It has a nice spice flavour too. And I do taste the orange peel. Now I want to make apple cider.

Mmm… mint. That’s a lot of mint. Maybe I brewed it too long. Smells really good. The flavour is pretty good, though not as chocolaty.

This smells really nice, liked spiced apples. It’s not as flavourful as I was expecting. Though I do like the cider taste.
